I often stop at this supermarket because it is close to my job. Yesterday I stopped by and spent $140 on 2 bags of groceries, upon reaching home, I realized I was double charged for a box of penne pasta and overcharged for two packs of tuna. The tuna was $1.99 and I was charged $3.99 each. This is not the first time I was overcharged, but I usually catch the mistake at the register. I called and the person who answered the phone (mentioning her name is not necessary because she was NOT the problem) told me to return with my receipt for a price adjustment and a refund on the pasta. I let her know I lived far and would return after work tomorrow. When I arrived today, a polite cashier asked the manager for help solving my problem. The very rude manager yelled across the supermarket asking what my issue was. He proceeded to ask me where the products were. I explained that I was only asked to return with the receipt. He went back and forth with me about how he was not processing a refund without receiving the product, again, I was not looking for a refund on the tuna, I was expecting a price adjustment and did not have the extra box of penne that I was charged for. The young lady who answered the phone, and was present today, explained that the manager on duty yesterday was aware of the issue and said that I only needed to bring in the receipt. After a nasty exchange, he finally adjusted the price and returned the money to me. The manager was rude and disrespectful. He kept saying that he was doing me a favor and he did not have to help me. A simple mistake on their part turned into a big issue. All the manager had to do was apologize for the mistake and give back the money. The customer service he demonstrated was atrocious. That is not how anyone should be spoken to or treated in a place where they spend their hard-earned money. Please be sure to pay attention at the register and check your receipts when shopping at this...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreClean, usually well stocked, seemed off to a good start when they first opened, a welcome improvement to the bleak neighborhood grocery store options.
Sales actually make items reasonably priced, hiding how most items are generally overpriced. Staff seems friendly enough, though there's rarely help with bagging groceries, even with the line getting backed up, even with the guy who seems to be the manager just staring off into space. Is there some policy about not helping bag groceries?
Kinda feels like the twilight zone when there's several employees standing around or when the cashier is just staring at you dead eyed or staring at their phone while you are bagging your own groceries
The one rare instance a cashier helped bag, he seemed overwhelmed and helpless, while literally three people kept chatting and living their best lives all while the line got backed up. The vibe was if he asked for help he'd get bullied or something. Do they treat old people and woman with children in tow like this? What on earth is going on? Why is the bar so low in how people treat each other? I don't mind helping bag to keep things moving when it makes sense but it just seems like it's the new rule to treat people with indifference. Is this weird lingering Covid culture? Theres people who work there who could help and simply just choose not to and it...
