WOW. There sure are a lot of mental health facility connoisseurs on these reviews.... I can't say this is the "worst", but what the heck else can you expect when your service is most likely paid for by the state? I guess since most of the reviewers are flat broke and getting free service, they're unable to admit that you get what you pay for.

So, I really don't know if this one facility can be blamed or if it's really just a big picture problem since most people are emotionally unheathy/"mentally ill" etc. anyway and integrity is poor everywhere, since nearly everyone is just showing up for their own entertainment or the paycheck. The patient intake Person Jennifer ended up labeling me as if I have some kind of drug use problem because I was HONEST. You should NEVER punish honesty in a mental health facility, as that just means you yourself are pathologically dishonest. I emphasized how I was interested in getting support through talk therapy, but I also simply admitted that I smoked a little weed on the way to the morning appointment and apparently that's the wrong thing to do, so she turned me straight over to a psychiatrist specializing in drug abuse. It took no time at all for the psychiatrist to realize that I was not ready to start a drug treatment, nor do I need help with an addiction. HELLO I AS WELL HAD A VERY BAD EXPERINCE WITH MENTAL HEALTH FACILITY THE PHD I WAS SEEING WHO I FELF FROM THE VERY START WAS TO YOUNG & INEXPERINCED I WAS 100% CORRECT IN MY FIRST IMPRESSTION. I CAME FIR MY REG SCHED. APOINTMENT ON MONDAYS AS I ALWAYS HAS FOR ##6 VISITS PREVIOUSLY I GOT THERE 1/2 HR EARLY I WAS TURNED AWAY & SHE REFUSED TO SEE ME DYE MY MANIC STATE WHICH I WAS IN REAL MENTAL DISTRESS UNBELIVABLE & I WAS SHAKING I BEGGED HER TO SEE ME BUT INSTEAD SHE AKED ME WHAT SUBSTANCES I WAS UNDER I WAS 100% SOBER JUST MENTALLY IN A SPIN A PANIC. VERY UNPROFESSTION AS WELL AS DANGEROUS TO MY MENTAL HEALTH & STATE ST THAT MOMENT!!

ALSO THE GIRLS AT THE FRONT DESK CONTANTLY SPOKE SPANISH AND SAID VERY UNKINDS THINGS AND MADE JOKES BETWEEN THEMSELFS!! I TOLD THE FIRST DAY WHEN I HEARD THIS I KNEW SPANISH BUT... THEY CON... ANYWAY !!

THEY VERY PART WAS DR. JOHN SPENSER THERE PSYCH M. D I GIVE HIM HIS LISTENING ABILITY & HIS KNOWLEDGE OF MENTAL HEALTH MEDICINE'S EXCELLENT! HE IS ONE THE MOST DWN TO EARTH & REAL DOCTORS I HAVE EVER MET IN MY LIFE & I AM #65 YRS YOUNG & HAVE BEEN IN THERAPY...

Had an 9:15 am appointment and I waited for 25 minuets. Then, the doctor came out and took another person. I went to the front desk and asked about my 9:15 appointment. I was told “ oh she just took her 9:am because she had to wait for someone to translate.” My problem is when were they going to tell me. It is presently 9:48 am and I am still waiting. In addition to this problem, their front desk clerks are unprofessional. I was told by a young man at the front desk, “ we don’t work like that” when I tried to explain to him that my insurance isn’t working as I had to take six weeks off work. However, I had another insurance from my husband’s which I would like to use. He continued to tell me that I have to stick to the insurance that I originally signed up with.
