I emailed this company that was referred to me from a close friend of mine in which she highly recommended. I was excited to finally get my business cards printed and after seeing all the wonderful reviews I was ecstatic. Initially I called to inquire about the service I was requesting and the gentleman who answered advised to send my design to their email. Perfect! There was a bit of a delay in communication on my end so I did apologize in my email once I confirmed size of the cards. They then emailed back that my borders would look “off” (the borders on my design). I didn’t really know what they meant but I emailed them stating I wouldn’t want to omit the borders and if there could be anything that I can do on my end to ensure the borders wouldn’t look “off”. This company has some really intricate and wonderful designs I didn’t really understand the whole border issue. As I was waiting for there response I figured I would be okay if they really couldn’t print the design with the border. Their response in capital letters were “THEY WILL LOOK OFF” with a follow up email saying in capital letters again “THERES NOTHING YOU CAN DO”. Read moreDealt with them 3x: First for a 1-off print on a sweatshirt. About 5 years ago now, a young woman went through Fonts and made the design (simple words). I provided the sweatshirt and it was done in a day for a reasonable price.
Second time, again 5 years ago, I was looking for a more complicated design that needed a designer. The woman said she could do it, later realized she really couldn't, but never emailed me. I had to come in to find her in person. She was nice about it, but wasted my time.
Latest/last experience, emailed a completed design and it was done in a couple days for a good price. Edit: it was a banner and when they blew up the image sent, it came out blurry. So the work was sub par.
The staff and owner is mannerless (walk in and greet them like you were raised properly, they'll ignore you entirely or respond begrudingly like you're annoying them; it's definitely worse now with the old lady there than it was before - I'd bet money that's the owner, you can tell by the responses here the owner does not believe in "polite customer service") and the space is a disheveled mess, but if you send what you need done ahead of time via email, the prices are fair, and the work should be done - but don't expect anything extra and check your stuff before you...

So, about two Valentine's Days ago I decided to throw a last minute event that was a very big deal and very stressful. I needed exceptional quality at an affordable price( I'm a single parent trying to make it as an entrepreneur). I had never met this guy, nor seen any of his work. I found the company through a Google search and decided to take a chance. Not only was he able to execute in perfection my vision based off a crappy sketching that I'd provided via picture email from my phone but the order was ready on time and at a price that I could afford and he gave me options. I didn't even have to negotiate. When the order was ready I traveled all the way from Bayonne, NJ with my shopping cart and picked up some of the most beautiful artwork I'd ever seen that was my flyer. Now why am I just remembering to write this review? Well I am trying my hand at a big project again and am putting my trust and faith in the hands of NYC FAST PRINT.
