I met Dr. Fong 7 years ago just a few hours before she was to perform an urgent c-section to deliver my first child. She was the only doctor in the Weill Cornell practice that I hadn't yet met as things were happening unexpectedly and 3 weeks early. I was stressed and terrified with everything that was going on. As soon as she walked to me and held my hands I knew I was lucky to have her and the other doctors and staff at NYP Lower Manhattan. Since then I have had one more child with her and I couldn't have wished for a better doctor. Not only does she have the kind and caring personality that can instantly put you at ease in any situation (and pregnancy can present you with so many unforseen circumstances), but she is also extremely knowledgeable and a great professional that I completely trust to provide the best possible care. This is my first time writing a review with such care. During my pregnancy, without family around, Dr. Fong provided me with the same warmth and care that family would. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a wonderful doctor by chance, and to have had such a positive medical experience.

From the moment I first met Dr. Fong, she gave me a deep sense of safety and trust. She always greets you with a smile, takes the time to answer all your questions and concerns, and professionally manages every step of your OB care.

This is a long overdue review for the amazing Dr. Fong. She took care of me when I was expecting my son about 2 years ago and I honestly couldn’t be happier with her knowledge, professionalism, and compassion. She always went above and beyond even calling me after hours to check on me when I had a concern. Shes warm natured and won’t make you feel rushed during visits. The practice was all female at the time (not sure if it still is) but that was a huge plus for me - as I knew I would have a female OB in the delivery room. My son was delivered by another wonderful OB (Dr. Faris) but Dr. Fong came to check on me the next day when she was on call.
