Iāve been with The Ness for about 6 months now. I live in California so Iāve only used their digital app/website. I fell in love with rebounding starting the pandemic⦠Iāll never run again! And The Ness increased my rebounding endurance/stamina /stability/balance .. all the things! The app is so easy to use⦠cannot go wrong!
You do NOT need a rebounder for The Ness digital program- they have sculpt/stretch videos that donāt use the rebounder. BUT I HIGHLY recommend investing in a quality rebounder (bungee not springs) for The Ness and just daily cardio. The rebounder is low impact/high intensity (super good if you are prone to injury), wonderful for the lymphatic system, heart health (10 mins rebounding is equal to 30 min run), and of course weight loss if that is your goal. They have very beginner rebounding classes to advanced so any level can join in on the fun. They have weekly drops- work out laid out for your week- or full access to their class library where you can pick the workout you want. They also have stability classes on the rebounder- lots of one leg/arm balancing. I cannot stress enough how stability exercises ARE KEY to balanced strong bodies. Not only should you strengthen big muscles but all tiny muscles/joints that hold you together. Think about being able to reach up for something on your tippy toes FOREVER! Gotta keep those ankles strong! Also stability is good for balancing left and right side strength. ANYWAY, cannot recommend The Ness enough⦠perfect well balanced fitness program!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreRecommend 10/10. I will go on and on to anyone who will listen how much I love this studio. I got my first introductory to Bounce (high adrenaline/low impact cardio work out on a trampoline) at a different studio but now wonāt go anywhere else because of the instructors/overall energy of clients.
Additional review:
Schedule: good variety of times for those who have mon-fri 9-6 work schedule ā offering even Sunday afternoon if you have had a busy work week
Instructors: taken classes with Aly, Serena, and Kendall and all are challenging/wonderful
Pricing: standard for Manhattan if you want a genuinely good work out ā offers really great introductory packages
Compared to other work outs: sometimes think the cardio is harder than Barryās because you canāt āslowā down your speed on a trampoline as you would on a treadmill
Other opinions: Think itās best to Bounce for Cardio but Sculpt to tone up (ālookā good)
Location: downtown and good easy commute ā near yellow line, blue line, and green lines
My favorite part: invitation/referral only ā curates a clientele that truly love the classes and are excited to be there. I feel like people in work out classes can get unnecessarily competitive with other clients in class (??!) but there is none of this energy here ā also love...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdated 1/2024: After a particularly difficult year, I can still say that the community and trainers at the ness are unparalleled in their support for everyone who walks through their doors (or streams their classes online). There's no diet culture, ableism, or any of the toxic positivity that is so prevalent in the fitness industry. Everyone is appreciated and celebrated for who they are and where they are today. After the pandemic, a lot of studios scaled back on their digital offerings...the ness has expanded it. I may not be able to get to the studio every day, but I feel just as much of the energy online as everyone who's physically in the studio.
The ness is a great studio for people of all levels or familiarity with fitness. The schedule offers a variety of classes so there is something for everyone. Over the past several years, the team has been very supportive of me as I have navigated health issues and had to travel out-of-state for treatment. They are very professional and make every effort to get to know all of their clients. Everyone in class gets the best experience possible, whether it's for in-person or...
