I see this place every week when I go to skin laundry to my laser treatment so I gave a try to PRO PRO nails and the stuff is very indifferent, was uncomfortable to be there, personal no smile no matter what, they don't answer if you try to make conversations, they make faces, the answers are monosyllabic and overo and Cecy the technicians asked me for extra trip since I left only 10%, but girl DON'T forget that tip IS NOT mandatory, you assume that you deserve 15-20% but you can even be nice? actually I regret to leave the 10%, I should not leave anything with all that attitude, you wanna 20% tip? we'll work for that, at least smile since is a free thing to do, nails are ok, no my favorites and I'm not planning to be back, do you know in how many places in midtown I can get my nails?? TONS, so I only suggest: BE SMART! PS I am no cheap but I won't tip to no one...

Called this morning for an appointment today. Nice staff, 3 binders of gel colors to choose from, but mostly solid and glitter, plus cat eye, a few designs, and maybe chrome? There are other options for nail inspiration in various areas of the salon. They only charged me $5 for gel x removal rather than $10 since I only had tips on several fingers, which was nice. Pema did my nails- she was sweet and took her time. Thorough nail cleaning, which I appreciate, and I was in and out in maybe 1.5 hours. I paid $60 in cash for gel x removal on 6 nails and a cat eye gel manicure- cat eye is an extra $10. Quick shoulder massage during manicure was a nice touch. I’ve been going to Amy for years, the owner of Pro Pro. I’m a picky nail person and need perfect cuticles as mine had always peeled or cracked after manicures…before I met Amy!

My gel x manis last a month to the date and I have a standing appointment on the 9th of each month to do my nails and pedi. My cuticles no longer peel and I don’t have anything to bite at.

Aside from her attention to detail, Amy is as gracious of a woman as it gets. Her sweet hubby pops in and out, as he picks her up and drops her off everyday. I honestly just love her and want to support her business in anyway that I can. She works so hard and her salon is clean with great color options. I cannot recommend someone or salon more!
