Excellent Acupuncturist… Even better human being.
I’ll start with location, most people do not realize there is a multi work studio space that’s on the fifth floor of this address. So I was taken a little back by the different offices occupying the same floor. However it is very clean, very professional, and well maintained.
Qi Lu (she pronounced it Chi Lu) is an excellent acupuncturist, an east asian physician, and her own office assistant. So when you call she may be in the middle of working with a client, however she will pick up every time she can to speak briefly and set you up for a visit. She has two spaced to treat clients, she offers electrostim, cupping, massage, and diagnoses of what she can recommend to help with various pains. The good is she knows what she is doing, she keeps all her equipment is clean and in excellent shape. She gives ample time for anyone visiting to get a mix of treatments in one session. Her sessions (plus physical therapy) did help me heal an issue with a heel spur that was beginning to appear in a chronic manner. The muscle in my calves were so tight that the blood flow had slowed down significantly contributing to my plantar fastitus . Since then I’ve added more stretched to my routines to help change that dynamic. It took 6-7 sessions with acupuncture with stem to get the blood flowing again. Throughout Qi was professional, consistent with her treatments, and gave excellent massages. I recommend you bring a change of clothes as you may need to remove your pants or shirt depending on the area that needs to be treated. I wore long netted sport shorts that was easy to keep in my bag. The bad is that she has to manage so much on her own that people forget she too is a human being, one that tries to help others in society. With that said people have mistreated her because her accent is a bit heavy making communication difficult at times. I have spoken with her several times and asked her to repeat herself so I can understand what she is saying, she was never offended by me asking for clarification on any matter. She also has to work on a tight schedule because the length of the sessions are not short. She has to run the administrative side of the business on her own. I imagine medical billing can be quite frustrating with what’s happening with insurance companies these days.
I highly recommend her and hope that you visit with open mind...
Read moreI’ve been seeing Qi Lu for 2 months now, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. I was initially hesitant to try acupuncture, but after just a few sessions, I’m so glad I took the leap. Qi Lu is incredibly knowledgeable and has an extensive understanding of how acupuncture can be used to treat a wide range of issues. She took the time to explain the process, and I learned so much about how acupuncture can improve overall health, not just address symptoms.
Her expertise has made all the difference in my experience. Whether you're dealing with pain, stress, or other health concerns, I highly recommend giving acupuncture a try with Qi Lu. The personalized treatment plans have made a noticeable difference in my health and well-being, and I always leave feeling rejuvenated and balanced.
I initially booked an appointment to tackle my chronic back pain from my herniated disc, as I want to avoid having to get another epidural. With the type of pain I experience I was hesitant on a natural route, all I can say is I was wrong! I now feel more confident and at ease with acupuncture, thanks to her guidance and skill.
If you're considering acupuncture, do yourself a favor and book an appointment with Qi Lu — her knowledge and care will leave you feeling better than you ever...
Read moreFrom the moment I met Qi, I could tell she had such a warm and caring personality. She immediately made me feel comfortable, and what impressed me most is that within the very first visit she was able to identify things about my health that multiple MDs I had seen over several appointments hadn’t been able to figure out.
After just one session, she helped improve my sleep, reduce my headaches, and even ease the tension in my jaw from clenching something I’ve struggled with for a long time. On my second visit, I was even more amazed. Qi doesn’t just do acupuncture; she combines it with cupping, massage work, and red light therapy to make sure you’re getting the best results possible.
She is incredibly skilled, thoughtful, and friendly truly an expert in her field. I couldn’t imagine going to anyone else for...
