I HIGHLY do not recommend this salon. I had dip/powder on my natural nails and instead of filing and soaking it off, they used a cuticle cutter and a METRO CARD. I am from NY and have NEVER had this done on NATURAL NAILS. I told the nail tech numerous times that it was painful and I prefer the other method and he said no it takes too long. Then he literally made a HOLE in my nail! It was so beyond painful and when i tried to let him know he said it didnt hurt. He completely ignored me. After i realized there was a hole, i stood up and said i was leaving because 3 of my nails had holes and 2 others were completely cracked/broken and ruined. I started crying and I said I am not paying for this and I am leaving and they switched me to another nail tech. I said you ruined my nails and now i need tips and im not paying for that and they said instead they would just fill in the empty holes and cracked areas with the polish. A few hours later my nails are still stinging and burning. They didnt even clean them up or anything. I was so upset I just wanted to leave, so I didnt argue about the price or anything. But they charged me full price ($50). My nails were so beautiful and long and I had been growing them out, and now they are short. Also, they charged me $5 more for the manicure because I had a “different shape”. For reference, my nails were almond before and they are still almond. I would never recommend this salon to anyone ever again. AND I still gave the second guy a tip because I felt bad that I started crying. NEVER GO HERE! My nails are...
Read moreI have been going for many years so I do not take doing this lightly. I had a super small cut on my finger from work.
It was healed over and scabbed. The nail lady used her drill to grind the scab down. I immediately told her to stop but the damage was done. I have had a huge infection in my finger for over a month. I have been to the doctor 2 times. And even with treatment it's bad.
They don't clean these drills between clients.
I went today AGAIN to tell the owner about what happened a month after I originally told them.
She yelled at me and said infection was from me working at resturaunt. I was off 4 days from work. Infection set in before going back to work.
I don't want to see anyone's business in jeporady from someone's misjudgedment which is why I told her.
Her dissmisal of my complaint after being a customer many years was disgusting. I wasn't asking for a refund or for someone to get fired but just for them to inform their staff to sanitize and clean and to not play nurse on someone's healed wound.
Don't let them clip your cuticles and ask before they use any tools on you to sanitize them in front of you. I am going to doctor again tomorrow as I am still not healing. And calling health department. I am adding the photo from over a month since infection and will...
Read moreThis is the worst place i’ve ever been to in my life. As nice as I was, they had no respect and zero regards for my comfort. S She They did my lashes incorrectly and left the glue on my eye lids and lower eye so every time I blinked or slept they were shut together. When I came to get them removed about 2 days later because of the bad placement, they put serum on my eyes while doing my toes, so I couldn’t see what was going on. The serum was ineffective because of how thick the lashes were applied. The person taking them off even said this. She proceeded to YANK them off and even when I told them that it hurt and my eyes burned they kept going. My eyes were red and the remover was in my eyes. The crazier part was that they didn’t even finish removing my lashes, they left me there in pain and pretended to not see me anymore. I had to make my way to the owner, who then tried to blame me for the problem. They then tried to send me home with the remover in my eye and told me take it off on the ride home… I literally could barely walk in the salon to see where I was going, let alone get home. They made me pay for terrible work and now my eyes are still blurry and I can’t see. I will be reporting them very soon. Do not go...
