I came here the day before Thanksgiving this year and I got a frontal helix piercing. I should have known to leave the shop. First, when I got on the table, she cleaned my ear without going deep enough into the crease and I had to ask her to clean it again because I had just put my pinky in there to show her where I wanted it. After that, I had to ask her to change her gloves because she was touching a sign on the table while she was preparing the jewelry equipment with the same gloves on, so I was weary of the overall hygiene of the place. Then, she almost dropped the jewelry ball in my ear canal, which I was really scared of, and she told me to stop moving as if my automatic response to her making another mistake would be to trust her. Finally, to top off the whole experience, the ball wasn’t screwed on tight enough and the jewelry used was too short to make up for the swelling and they put a labret (flat back) in my frontal helix piercing meaning that I was already having a hard enough time cleaning it anyway because it would have been a lot easier if it had been a straight barbell as I have in my two other new piercings which are healing really well, which I got done at the same price range at another shop. Now I have a small bump on my ear which I’m going to have to spend more money on getting injected and I’ve wasted over $80 at this shop for me and friends piercing but thankfully she tightened the ball on her belly piercing tight enough and knew to do the piercing from the bottom to the top which is why I left 2 stars.

I called the shop the morning of the incident and they didn’t respond and I called them again the day after that as well and I sent multiple texts which I never got a response to, it’s not an excuse that the shop only has a landline because I’m sure they saw they had voicemails and it’s not like the voicemail inbox doesn’t read the texts out loud in an automated voice anyway. I decided to push past my distaste and graciously ask the shop if they would re-pierce or be kind enough to give me another piercing because I paid a lot of money for a piercing that lasted less than a week and I use these piercings as a form of auriculotherapy because of some health issues I’ve had in the past getting ear piercings is keeping pressure on certain pressure points to keep different muscles loose. When I got my frontal helix pierced it loosened up the forehead muscles on the same side of my face and the rest of my muscles on the same side of my body I really felt good about it and now when I rub the muscles mass in between the bones in my face I can still hear them click again (it’s completely abnormal) and I’m very upset that I won’t be able to have my frontal helix pierced again because I really liked the piercing and it really helped my whole body and now it’s back to normal and it’s very disappointing to have the jewlery fall out almost immediately and not have anyone pick up the phone or respond and then have someone be defensive on the phone saying they pick up every call when nobody picked up and this whole thing just made me sad just go take candy from a baby instead at least the baby would have the societal right to cry about it

Edit: downgrading this to a one star since I can’t find a dermatologist to inject the keloid it caused and I can’t get a Daith...

• update as of may 2nd 2024 First of @ the owner reading is very fundamental I never said I waited 4 MONTHS to get it removed I said I got the piercing 4 MONTHS ago. The sinking in just happened a couple weeks ago. But anyways I went to the hospital yesterday & they finally got it out. They numbed me with strong medicine cut me and got it right out I had to be cut!. So I doubt that you guys would’ve even got it out cause it’s no way you were cutting me. I spoke with someone from the shop Monday & these were his exact words “ if you go to the hospital or urgent care they wouldn’t be able to get it out because their not piercers “ “ we would know how to get it out because we know what the jewelry looks like” & from then I’m just like yeah ok that’s not going to work out. The doctor got it out less than 10 minutes & he proceeded to tell me what to do during the healing process. So yes I give this place 0 STARS

I would like to leave a bad review!!!! if I could go back in time I would’ve never went to this place. On December 17th I went here to get a dermal piercing I got 2 I paid $120 The pain was 10/10 but it was worth it. The woman that serviced me told me it’ll take about 2 months for the piercing to heal & to not have any clothing on top of the piercing. Let me just throw in there that she used two different size jewelry. So one day one fell out .. & about 4 days after I assumed the other one fell out because I didn’t see it nor feel it but it didn’t. apparently the jewelry she used was too small so during the healing process my skin grew over it and the piercing sinked into this little whole… at first I tried to see if I can pull it out but that didn’t work so I went to an urgent care where the physician had to numb my back & cut my skin to get it out but she failed she immediately told me go to the hospital. I went to the hospital and they proceeded to tell me I needed to see a specialist ( surgeon ) & that I would need SURGERY to get it out because they would need to cut me deeper to get it out.. currently I am waiting for an appointment date to get the surgery done. Never in my life would I have expected this. Please If you are getting any type of piercing throughout your body make sure their using the correct size to prevent a situation like this. & I just feel like as a “ licensed piercer “ she should’ve know what this would...

This place is amazing, i got my piercing done by Lorena and she is so kind and such a sweetheart, she did everything very professional and all i felt was a little pinch. Before this i had another navel piercing that rejected a year ago that went horribly with the way that place did it so now i came to royal ink gallery and will continue coming there. i came here for another try and got the titanium material. when she pierced my belly it was very painless, i had only felt the weight of the jewelry and hurt very very little, it only hurt for about 30 minutes and after those thirty minutes i felt absolutely painless, i did not feel like i even had a piercing there, i was sleeping got scared thinking my piercing fell out or wasnt there but i was because i felt nothing, I am now 1 week through and i haven’t felt no pain, it looks so good and i am in love. Lorena explained about how the piercing works and why my last belly button piercing may have went the way it did she knew right away she knows what she is doing. She gives her full honesty on different piercings and the pain level. The prices are much more affordable than many many other places. i would definitely say that the prices are very cheap. She explains how it should be taken care of what not to use or let the piercing come in contact with.This place is amazing and %100 recommend. There are many places i’ve heard that went wrong in many places. she made me feel so comfortable and relieved because i was so nervous for absolutely no reason. Such amazing people...
