Space Bushwick — Local services in New York

I have space Bushwick a 2 star the size of the space is great and also the location is street level so that he gets a plus for but the own is a scammer why I say so my daughter sweet sixteen was there first when I went to book he said he would rent it for me for 1,500 and I can get the place for 6-2am then he send a contract out that I had to give him 1,800 that’s fine because I would get back 300 when ask now about the table and chairs now he said I had to pay for the chairs and when ask about setup then he said now that decorating and breaking down it’s part of the eight hours so he expect you to come in and set up party and breakdown for the same hours between 6and 2am when ask if I can come in a little bit early, I was charged extra or I would have to change my time I changed my time 6-1 am so I can come in from 3:30 PM to decorate. I also paid him extra $445 that was 200 for the clear chairs that I asked him for in the beginning of the contract which he said it was OK then said it was $200 more extra $95 extra for thechampagne tree in an extra 150 to come in an hour earlier after my party he never reimburse me the 300 so in total he got for his space $2245 before making any agreement with him ask him 101 question plus he doesn’t even remember who you are when the time comes or what date you book I went to him almost 3 times talking to him about my daughter‘s party. Bought several people with me then all of a sudden I had to pay for this I had to pay for that I had to get out on time he sent me a new contract which I never signed again because he was ridiculously only because it was last minute and I already gave up the other spot. I did not cancel with him. He is a scammer be careful. His price has changed. He gives different prices to different customers then pretend that we made that deal I have the text messages for him. I also have the tables and chairs. He took a picture and showed me that I would get then all of a sudden I had to pay for the chairs which I did not Mind but why now because oh I didn’t get out exactly at 1 AM. I don’t get back the security deposit he wants you out of his place exactly 1 AM although he you decorated he don’t give you time to set up or time to clean up. That’s something when booking with him. You need to make sure he gets that straight and put it in writing everything else is not part of it. He don’t have refrigerator. You cannot use the speakers. He don’t have a sink for washing out the utensils you have to take the water in the bathrooms. The place is big but he’s missing several things. The AC did not work 100% plus you have to call him every minute for something I would not be recommended Space Bushwick to any of my family and I’m not telling anyone don’t book him. I’m just telling people please ask for what you need before he create the contract and re-read it before signing it and agreeing to it. He act like he has Alzheimer’s after he gets your money you have to constantly remind him I send you this amount and I send you that amount. Keep every receipt and every text message but again I would not be booking Space wish week oh and another thing he has two phone so he put someone else to pretend they talking as he has another help but he stated to me that he is the boss and when I was trying to call the other person, he asked me to call his number not the other person while I was in his present. I dial the other number and he sent a message from the other number saying please text. I’m in a meeting when I’m was the one standing right there with him so that basically tells me he is also a liar, and he doesn’t have another person to help. Communication with Luca was consistent while he was getting us to book- as soon as he received the money communication became absent. We had to text and call MULTIPLE times before getting a response for simple yet necessary questions! We were told round tables would be included at the time we booked as we were buying our own table covers. We also made sure to ask if the TV would be included as we had a slide show for my husband’s memorial service. Patritzha assured me there would be a tv (as Luca stopped answering text and calls). The day of the event Luca opened the venu and to our surprise the tables provided were rectangular. We stated we were told round tables would be provided and he states the round tables were too far to bring and we would have to use the ones provided and if the issue was the table covers he could rent them to us at $15 each! Also to our surprise the TV was not in the room we booked. I tried calling Patritzah and she stated she didn’t realize the TV had been moved but there was nothing that could be done at this point. We stepped out to pick some food up and Patritzah started calling us back telling us we needed to pay a $300 security deposit before they could let us start the event! On return we were able to bring our own tv but asked if we could use the remote to their tv as it’s the same brand. I had to call Luca multiple times while there, as he kept disappearing, to ask for batteries as the remote wasn’t working. He tried to tell me it was the TV. I had to ask multiple times for new batteries. He finally disappeared with the remote, brought it back after 15 minutes saying they were changed but they weren’t, I had to go buy my own. The event was scheduled from 4-12. At 11:18 Luca approached me asking if we wanted an extension. When I said no he stated we needed to start cleaning up as we would have to pay if the place wasn’t completely cleared by midnight. He then proceeded to start clearing our tables as guests were still sitting eating food and cake. He tried throwing the left over food we had away, we had to stop him! Once everything was cleared and we had been practically thrown out he was taking his sweet time to give us the security deposit back, stalling as we waited for over 20 minutes and had to stand next to him to make sure he sent the money back. I rented this space twice in one year, I dealt directly with Luca, and the experience was good. Which is why I can’t understand the next 2 horrific experiences I encountered. I rented both rooms for a baby shower in June of this year, back in April my daughter in law began to experience some complications with carrying my grandson, I contacted Luca in April and informed him that I would need to postpone the June date( at the time I didn’t know until when), he said fine. Unfortunately my grandson was born months earlier and he only survived 5 days. I contacted Luca to inform him of the situation, and to request my $1000 deposit, and after 2 weeks of the run around, they refused to issue my deposit and told me that I had to take a credit, I was horrified, but I had to accept it. Now , My son and I decided to use the credit and throw a friendsgiving for our family and friends , so I booked the large room for 11/29. A week later, Luca calls me to tell me that the place was not available on the date that was promised to me, then proceeded to try and encourage me to do it on another day, and I told him that was not an option ( since I live out of state and had already booked my airfare). He then told me that I could have the smaller room for the date that I needed, at this point my back was against the wall, so I agreed to take it. Now here is the kicker!!!!, 2 days ago, a week and a half before my event, Luca informs me that the small room that I booked with them, is not available!!!!, and he was very nasty and unprofessional, and insisted that I hadn’t booked ( until I forwarded him the copy of the contract that was emailed to me, along with a text message from their staff member), It was like being in the twilight zone!!!, and his only response to me , was that I should be able to find another place . They ARE Horrible, Unprofessional, and offered no resolve for an issue that they created, all because of their failure to communicate within their company. Now I have people coming in from out of town, thousands of dollars spent on food and decorations, “ I WILL NEVER BOOKED AT THIS LOCATION OR RECCOMMEND ANY OF MY MANY FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS TO BOOK AS WELL!!!, They have the absolute worst business practices that i’ve ever encountered, and anyone that books with them had better...
