Horseradish Market — Local services in New York

This place is quite literally THE BEST organic/ health store you will find in NYC. We just moved to the area and were so excited to come across this gem. Everything about this place is pure gold. The owner is kind and clearly good hearted, the store itself is intentionally organized to be easy to maneuver & find what you are looking for, and despite being a smaller sized store, they have just about everything you could need! On top of that, the prices are the best I have ever seen in a nyc store & an organic store in general, just reinforcing the owners good intentions of making high quality food accessible to everyone. I can't praise this place enough, they even have 99 cents coffee (and its good!) and baked goods! If you haven't been here, you are missing out, and it's worth just about...

I love what this place is trying to do -- for the neighborhood, and for our planet. It's a lovely little spot with a friendly vibe. But I do want to see it continue to evolve, in 2 important ways: 1) please add more KETO and gluten-free items! 2) In certain categories, a second choice would be appreciated. For instance, they only offer Mrs. Meyers cleaning products and if, like me, you can't stand Mrs. Meyers, you will be out of luck here. Having an alternative would make it easier to make this a truly one-stop shop. :) But please keep up the good work, reasonable prices, and friendly vibe! Great to have a market...

I’m about to start a horseradish fan club. This is the first health conscious grocery store I have ever come across in New York that prioritizes quality of food over profits and that makes healthy food accessible to people on a budget. The staff is SO friendly and helpful, the music is always good, the produce is FRESH AND RIPE, every product carefully and ethically sourced, and where the hell else can you get a cup of coffee for a dollar while you shop around here?
