Then restaurant is inviting. Plenty of seating and not cramped like common nyc restaurants. However it was a bit drafty and it seems most restaurants in Brooklyn don't properly ventilate or insulate their properties. I don't know about most people but I'd imagine you wouldn't want you food getting colder than necessary. Honestly I've had better Thai food. We had the Pad See Ew and Pineapple fried rice with extra chicken (costly as it was $15.00 more and the plates are not big. Don't come here if you're hungry or "hangry"). The noodles were average and the extra protein barely filled the plate. Honestly it just seemed like the seasoning on both plates could've been more robust. 🤷 Not underwhelming but not satisfying either. For this I could've made a pre workout chicken and rice meal and made it caucasian style: bland. With that said the waitress was kind and accommodating. Music was decent. Nothing loud and obnoxious. I didn't taste any alcohol but I suspect it's good. Overall an average experience. However this is no 5 star restaurant and don't want to give the impression you're walking into one to get luxury service. 😉

I ordered lunch from this place through uber eats, and the food arrived hot and well-packed. I started with chicken spring rolls — a small portion of 3 or 4 rolls. They were fried nicely and served warm, though the flavor was fairly basic. Next, I tried the fried fish cakes. They were tiny in size (about 5 or 6 pieces) but came with an interesting peanut-chunk sauce. The fish cakes were actually quite good and ended up being my favorite part of the meal. For the main dish, I ordered minced chicken sautéed with chili, bell pepper, and spices, served over rice with a fried egg on top. This is my usual go-to dish at Thai restaurants, so I had high expectations. I was a bit surprised to find very little basil, which I usually look for in this dish. The flavor overall was mild, not spicy, and felt a bit plain. On the positive side, the portion was generous — enough for two meals — and overall it was satisfying, though nothing about the food really stood out as exceptional. A decent, basic Thai option, but not extraordinary.

Self-Care Saturday Win! After a much-needed pedicure, I decided to try a new spot — Thai Me — and I’m so glad I did. The service was great: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. One thing that stood out immediately was the owner asking if I had any food allergies before taking my order that alone is worth 5 stars. I've dined at many places, and I'm usually the one who has to bring that up, so I truly appreciated the proactive care. I ordered the Mango Salad, subbing in chicken, and it was a hit. Super fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced — salty, sweet, and vibrant. I’d personally tone down the sweetness of the dressing just a bit since the mango itself already brings a lot of natural sugar. Still, a solid 9/10! The real star of the show? The beer-braised beef ribs absolutely 10/10. Fall-off-the-bone tender, rich in flavor, and cooked to perfection. I'll definitely be back. This spot is a gem.

So people with gluten allergies love thai food because we can eat a lot of it. I would probably go here a lot, but when i ordered something that should be gluten free and i let them know im gluten free just to be careful, they told me there boss seas everything in the restaurant has gluten in it. I was shocked because it simple was not true. They just don't know what gluten is or they just didn't know what was in the food they serve. I had to ask them what was in the curry that had gluten? The girl told me the curry came from a can. So I new it was probably safe. But thats not a good way to advertise food. I think they don't know what is in the food because its not fresh. Its all pre made but that meanstjey can look at the ingredientson the can. Cand curry should be gluten free. They are just being lazy. Rice is gluten free and they told me it had gluten. I was so hungry. So after asking them lots of questions abouth the ingredients and anoying my boyfriend to the point that he didn't want to eat there anymore, I learnd the curry was safe to eat. But this was so annoying. And they really did not want to help me. So rude. The curry was the best in the neighborhood so far, but we don't have meany restaurants in the area. A restaurant should know what is in there food. Its not that hard to mark a few idems for different food allergies and put it on the menu. Or at least ask the kitchen what does not have soy sauce and what is not thickend with flour or fried in flower. Its not like i was at an Italian restaurant asking for gluten free food. And truthfully i would probably find better service at an...

Subject: Concern Regarding Service Experience with Willi

Dear Manager’s

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Jesús Alfredo, and I have been a regular customer at Thai Me due to the welcoming atmosphere and excellent service I usually receive. However, I feel compelled to share a concern about my recent experiences, as they have been inconsistent with the high standards I have come to expect from your establishment.

On multiple occasions, I have encountered difficulties with a staff member named Willi. As a professional waiter with extensive experience in the restaurant industry, I value good service, and unfortunately, my interactions with Willi have been less than satisfactory. He has either confused my orders, taken them incorrectly, or outright refused to sell certain items, which I find quite perplexing.

Additionally, his attitude has not been hospitable or friendly. This stands in stark contrast to the warm and attentive service I usually receive at Thai Me. It feels as though Willi may be making personal judgments or classifications about the customers he serves, which leaves me feeling confused and uncomfortable.

I deeply appreciate Thai Me for its food and environment, which is why I feel it’s important to bring this matter to your attention. I would greatly appreciate your insight into this situation and any steps you might take to ensure consistency in the quality of service.

Thank you for taking the time to consider my feedback. Please let me know if you’d like to discuss this matter further.

Warm...

I came in to finish a phone call and enjoy a meal after a work day. The waitress was extremely condescending, I told her I needed some time to look over the menu and finish my phone call. She came up to me several times during that period to ask for my order as if I was just using the space without any intention to pay. There was a (white) woman next to me not only on the phone but on her laptop. I didn’t understand the issue but I placed an order for appetizers and a Manhattan. She didn’t know what a Manhattan was (the first cocktail on the menu) and came back to ask me if I wanted chicken wings. I said no. I went on to even add an entree. She then approached me several times to ask if I was “ok” and I kindly informed her I was trying to enjoy my meal just like the patron next to me who was also pushing through the end of her work day. I felt rushed and I explained this to the waitress and told her I just wanted to enjoy my meal. When I was leaving the back of my work bag caught the stool and it tipped over. This was the only time the staff didn’t ask if I was ok. I felt embarrassed and at fault when truly my money was as good as anyone else’s. If this isn’t a place for phones then I feel that standard should be enforced with...
