Went in to ask for a foot massage - initial impressions are that the facilities are clean and the elderly woman at the front desk seemed friendly. She quickly seated us without discussing pricing/etc

I ended up getting a therapist who was very weak - I asked twice for a stronger massage. The first time, she made a comment that she could use a firmer pressure, but that women don’t like that usually. No change in pressure. The second time, I asked again and she said ok - and again no change in pressure.

In the meantime, we committed to a body massage as well. I asked for a male therapist, and it ended up being just ok. I think the therapists are not properly trained in proper massage - but if you’re looking just for a general Swedish-style massage or to step out of the heat/weather for an hour and don’t care about your massage, this will be ok for you.

The worst part was the end, when checking out. We had tipped 20%, but they said that wasn’t enough and asked for more. That’s pretty annoying - why not just build that into the price and train the...

WARNING – Unsafe & Exploitative business. I was sexually assaulted during my massage. A male therapist (approx. 5'9, mid 50s) climbed on top of me while I was face down on the table, unzipped his pants, and pressed his penis on my butt! I was beyond disgusted and in shock! I wanted to get out of there and didn't want to pay for my service because I WAS ASSAULTED. The staff surrounded me (including him) and refused to return my card until I paid. They also required a $20/hour tip, although it says "suggested" on a sign they mean "required." I even told a woman clearly "he put his dick on me!" she seemed unphased and said "$20 tip is ok, not $30." I WAS FORCED TO TIP MY HARASSER! On top of this, they make the language barrier difficult to have conversations so it seems they take advantage of those that don't speak the native language. i will start by saying the actual foot massage and environment was 5 stars. however, i am giving 3 stars for how we were treated once we finished the massage. who wants to be harassed about how much you tip as soon as you finish before you even get out of your seat to pay. the lady came over and told us that we should tip at least 15$ (on a 20$ massage) if we enjoyed it. i was confused because we havent even gotten up to the register to pay. it was in the middle of the massage area in front of everyone and was embarrassing. ive been getting reflexology/foot massages for over 5 yrs and this has never happened to me. if there is a tip expectation - put a tip guide on a sign next to the price signs like many other spas do. and at the very least, wait until the guest is at the register to inform them of this unwritten...
