Nice store filled with beautiful and unique products. However, this store lacks customer service. The employees are always following me around as if I'm going to shoplift something. This isn't my first time entering the store. I've bought things there before and they only tend to be nice if you're buying something. Even then, the employees are so pushy and irritating! I am never returning due to what they did to me last time I went.
I walked in looking for a portable power bank for my phone. I was looking around. As always, the employees are always following me around and I could never peacefully walk around the store without the employees breathing down my neck. Feeling very awkward I decided to ask where they carried the power banks. They showed me the power banks and would not leave me alone to look at them myself. Anyways, that's not the worst part. I asked "Would you happen to know how long the power bank lasts for?" The employee started looking everywhere and instead of giving me an accurate time, she started blurting out random numbers at me. She yanked the item from my hand!!!! She told me to go to the lady, who I'm assuming is the owner, to ask her for the amount of time the power bank lasts for. The owner just started telling me the prices. Sheesh, I just got really irritated and said "no thank you, I don't want it anymore." When I was leaving the employees were still pushing me to buy the product, asking me why I was leaving and I got so many more questions. I might just be overreacting, but honestly I'm not going to spend my money in a place that doesn't even treat me with respect or value me as a customer. I don't mean being overly polite, but at least not following me around the store like I'm some sort of criminal and having a simple answer for a product they hold.
I don't know what's going on in this store, but they need to figure it out quickly. A beautiful store with cool stationary products. It's a shame they have 0 customer service skills. Finally, their products are kind of expensive for something you could buy on Amazon for...
Read moreRegret not reading the reviews before going in. I decided to give this cute exterior looking store a try and buy something. People told me it was overpriced but when I saw a few elderly maybe around 40-50 working there, I just wanted to help. I bought an item for close to $30 (my mistake for not thinking maybe I could’ve ordered this on Amazon for cheap but support small business mentality got me). When I was about to pay, they were really nice and all. Used it for less than 2 weeks and IT BROKE DOWN ON ME. Left it alone for days thinking I probably overused it and still wouldn’t turn on. I charged it, turned it on and it still wouldn’t turn on. I finally found time and went back to the store to see if I could exchange it. When I brought this up, lady in the store was mildly rude but tried to see if I was telling the truth. Surprisingly the product worked. Ofc I was embarrassed but as long as the product works, it’s fine with me. I left feeling somewhat mehh because why didn’t it work when I tried it and why did work when they did.
A week after I left the store, product broke down on me again. Same process - left it alone, charged it, turned it on - DOES NOT TURN ON. I can hear the motor running but the product doesn’t work. I don’t live in the Brooklyn area so it takes me 30 minute drive (on a good day) to get there. Product has failed on me twice and honestly going back there twice wasn’t worth the trouble. Their products are not worth the price/hassle of going back and when I tried to figure out a partial dispute with my bank since the product is obviously faulty/defective, I was accused by them of not paying for it just because the product worked the last time they tried it. Their policy was no return or refund but for the trouble I was going through, honestly don’t even bother be tempted by the cutesy of the shop.
It really was just $25 and not a big deal but they are shady af.
Resolution - surf Amazon and I got a better one for $8...

My girlfriend had told me about a shop that stalks its customers as they shop, but neither me nor did she know about the stores name.
It was today that I had found this shop and its name. At first, I didn't think much of it because I still had no idea what the name of this store was. After making a stop here, I decided to check it out, still oblivious to what this store was. I wanted to buy a valentines day gift for my girlfriend, so I decided a plush of her favorite character and a bouquet of flowers would be enough.
My sibling also wanted one, so I decided to get one. While shopping, I noticed the shopkeepers were strangely asking me a little too many questions to my comfort and watching me at times. It was until then, when I went to buy the two plushes, it rounded up to a total of a whopping $110! This was actually ridiculous to me, for just two plushes? And the plush my brother wanted was a stitch plush that only costed $20 and the same Sanrio plush was likely around $20 $30 on Amazon. And I bet these were just fake.
Overall, if you're going to buy cute plushes or Sanrio merchandise, buy it off Amazon, it's sold at a reasonable price than they are charging for. Please stop feeding this store that feeds off of people who don't know any better and robs off of desperate people.
For reference, this is the plush that I...
