Soho Boutique — Local services in New York

Please be aware that the store sells second hands clothes, so check the clothes before buying, I know it from my bad experience. I bought the dress in the begging of May there, within 10 mins, I find the one I like and the salesperson helped me to zip it up I liked the way it fits me and I paid and left. I did not even think about checking if it was clean. I was sure that this store sells only new clothes. The party I have to go to is two months away so I put it in the closet and was happy that I found the dress so fast. Then couple days ago I wanted to take the dress to the tailor to alter the length of the dress and notice that the dress is dirty with oil spots. I went to the sore and asked them to clean the dress themselves, because I was not sure that the cleaners can clean it and to be honest, I never could imagine that the store can sell dirty clothes. The salespersons were so rude and right away they told me that I am a liar and I did ware the dress and now I wanted to return it. I explained to them that this dress is only for a special occasion and that occasion is only in July and I did not want to return it, I just wanted them to clean it. I was told that they need to talk to the manager and they did but so I cannot hear the conversation. After the conversation with the manager the salesperson told me that I wore the dress and they cannot accept it, even though I did not want the refund. Stay away from this store!!!!!! I was visiting NYC and stopped by Soho Boutique. I've never been to this store before, but friend said that she used to buy some good clothes there many years ago. Young salesperson was following me everywhere and was pushing her recommendations on me, but seemed nice and friendly. I asked her about return policy and she assured me that I had nothing to worry about because I could return it within 7 days with receipt and tags on. I told her I liked one dress, but needed to show it to my husband and return it if he would not approve it. She confirmed again by saying "my love, I am going to give you a receipt and you can return it or exchange". Long story short I came next morning right when store opened to find a different salesperson who told me that they had no return policy at all and all sales are final. I was in a hurry going to a family event and couldn't argue with her, but she promised that manager/owner would call me back. He did, but only to call me a liar because he "watched the video" and there was nothing about return there. Ha-Ha, is this something new? Do cameras now produce sound on those videos???? So, he called a women and his customer he's never seen in his life before "a liar" over the phone without talking to the salesperson who worked day before and without offering any resolution to a visitor of his city and his store. Terrible, terrible experience and ruined event. ...

Don't ever go there! they are thieves ! I was looking around the store with my friend, and two sales people were walking around us, while looking thru the racks I lost my engagement ring, I told the manager , the salesgirl spoke some Russian and looked Asian, another was Israeli . The salesgirl tried to avoid looking at me , and the manager was rushing to get a payment from me, and said to leave my phone number she will call me if they found (it was like they knew about whereabouts of my ring). Obviously it was one of them found my ring and quietly took it, my friend went back forcing them to look for it, she swept their dirty floors, and nothing. This ring was very sentimental to me, it was a family ring. I and everybody I know will never go there again , this is sad that people are so dishonest . I should of call police and check their cameras but did not think of it at that moment, I hope whoever took it karma catches...
