My partner and I were looking for foot massages and we called in advance and asked for a price and were informed that it would be $50 an hour. When we got there they were expecting us and immediately brought us to an area with two tables. The person who was massaging me asked me to take off my bra and I explained that I was there for lower body, foot reflexology. It was clear during the massage that she thought it was a full body and did not understand what I wanted. I had to tell her multiple times to stop massaging my back and to work on my legs and feet. It was also clear to me that this person had very little knowledge of what she was doing. I see a medical massage person somewhat regularly and was massively disappointed that this person didnât have a clue. She was pretty much just rubbing areas of my body willy nilly. I had to point to my calves and tell her to massage them along with my feet. This was one of the most disappointing massages I have ever received. My partner thought his massage therapist was more knowledgeable and she seemed to respond to his body. Mine did not. I guess itâs luck of the draw there. What really got to me was when we went to pay, the price wasnât $50; it was now $60. I was pretty pissed and didnât feel the need to leave a tip since we were misinformed about the cost and my massage was terrible, but she outright asked for more money for the tip. So not only did they lie to us about the price to get us in, but we were asked for a larger tip. Unfortunately, I did not get the name of who saw me as I do not plan to go back. I do not recommend this place. There are plenty of other places in the area and I would go...
Read moreI was not very happy with my massage experience. I really like rough massages but it was not that. The guy didnt know what he was doing. I think he tried the best he could but he clearly is not trained. I do appreciate that he checked in with me, and I told him what I wanted. However, he was pressing on my literal bones and spine over and over again with his elbow. I had to ask him to stop or nudge him away from massaging my literal spine. It hurt. Massages and acupressure points are not supposed to be on your bones. I have had hundreds of massages, all over the world.... and this was the worst I've ever had. I left feeling worse than I did going in. I did ask him to focus on my neck which he did but then he was again rubbing my skull in a vigorous way that just hurt. I was bracing the entire time since I have a neck injury and was concerned he was going to significantly hurt my neck. I honestly wasn't going to tip but then the guy in the front demanded I give him a 20% tip. Mandatory. Nowhere in the building does it state there is a mandatory tip. Otherwise just include that in your price? Maybe some other masseuse are better here but I had a bad experience and it was a total waste of 80$. I would've rather...
Read moreAfter a friend recommended this place, I couldn't wait to try it myself. So happy with the 45 minutes although it went so fast and didn't feel like 45 minutes. To comment further, the sheets were dirty and I had to ask for new sheets; the lady attended to my concern right away. I had a lot of tension in my neck, back and shoulders which I think she attended to very well and got many of my knots out happily. I was impressed. There was a lot of chatter and background noise so I would choose a better time like when everyone's at work for me to get my peace. However, I did not know what to expect of the set up. You are in open space with dividers so you may have to hear other people groaning as they get their massage. Hot stones at the end was quite the surprise and I loved it. Wish the massage did not end! Will definitely return and...
