DO NOT BUY FROM HEREE !! On July 16 I came here to buy a dresser w mirror chest & a nightstand for my bedroom & the first time I went everything went smoothly everyone was so sweet & kind as they appeared . The next day on July 17th I came back to pay in cash, when I came back I seen a switch in energy from the seller which should’ve been the first red flag, when purchasing the bedroom set he assured me I’d receive the dresser the following day or the day after ! July 18th no delivery July 19th comes I get a call early morning from the delivery guys saying they are going to come deliver the furniture at 6pm. I rush home from work 7pm comes & I don’t receive a call so I call the delivery guys asking where they are at ? They then tell me they are not going to be able to deliver the furniture that day because they are in New Jersey finishing a delivery & they wouldn’t be done till 8pm which is too late. Completely unprofessional I call the seller Carlos at the location in Fordham & it’s a back & fourth I was told they are going to let me know if they are going to be able to deliver it that day, getting told different things . A day passes & the delivery guys assured me they are going today the 20th they come assembled & delivered everything. After they are done I’m just checking everything & looking at everything I realize one of the drawers in the chest was improperly installed & there was a crack in the dresser with the mirror but they had already left . I immediately call the next day since they are closed when I noticed, I explain to carlos the situation & he assures me the dressers were delivered in “good conditions” that they have a “ video “ of how they left everything yet I never seen them record any video nor do they want to let me see the “video” the dresser with the mirror came chipped all around the bottom it looks as if it was repainted . Carlos tell me he’s going to let the warehouse know . Weeks & weeks go by of him telling me somebody is going to come yet nobody does after calling 1000 times & Carlos being completely unprofessional over the phone & waiting 7 long weeks being today they are to come today even getting a call from the delivery guys wasting my time saying they are going to come today yet never appear . Around the beginning of sept the delivery guys came & “ fixed “ the drawer they improperly installed, by just switching it from bottom to top & telling me to find my “trick” to opening the drawer & that was their “fix” I then show them the crack & they say nothing can be done because of how long I have with the dresser, MIND YOUU I BEEN CALLING EVER SINCE I NOTICED THE CRACK THE DAY AFTER IT GOT DELIVERED !!! I was told to contact Carlos the person who sold me the set, they barely fixed the issue & were rushing to leave barely letting me explain what’s wrong . I then call Carlos the day after & he tells me there’s nothing he can do but just gave me a email in which I emailed twice & never gotten a response . These are the most unprofessional people & business I have ever purchased from . Carlos specifically is very rude & unprofessional . I’d never buy from here again my experience was horrible 0/10 .I recommend trying another small business or definitely a cooperate company . A couple weeks ago I read their reviews & seen how many other people experienced the same thing or a very similar experience with the same seller. This is a company who has been doing this for a while & getting away with it . Read moreOn Saturday July 13th, my mother went in to purchase 2 sofas at Tejada Furniture from employee “Carlos”. He sold my mother a love seat and a sofa bed. After the purchase, he told my mother the delivery would be arriving Tuesday, July 16th but nothing arrived. The following day Wednesday July 17th, my mother went to Carlos questioning him about the delay in the delivery and he stated that since the furniture shop was a third party seller, they were waiting on Ashley Furniture to deliver the missing couches. He said that instead the delivery would be arriving the following Thursday, July 25th. After not hearing from Carlos or getting any kind of confirmation call from the delivery company, my mother went to the furniture store to inquire about the couches. He stated that the couches still weren’t ready and my mom grew upset. She told him that she wanted her money back and he stated that they don’t do refunds. So she told him to put an exact date on the receipt from when the delivery was to arrive. He wrote August 3rd-August 5th. While on her way home, she received a call from the delivery drivers stating that they’d be delivering only the love seat. When they arrived, my mother asked them about the other couch and they stated that Carlos told them to tell her that the sofa bed would be arriving later that evening. Since Carlos had put August 3rd-5th, my mother waited patiently but still we never received the sofa bed. So on August 5th, my mother went down to the furniture store to speak to him but he refused to see her. So she left and she called him and he insulted her over the phone and stating that he wasn’t going to refund her the money. He stated that we had to just wait till the furniture appears and that it wasn’t his fault or problem. We purchased these couches with the intention of furnishing our home. Not to be scammed by the furniture company. We just want the money back and the one couch to be removed from our house.
It’s now August 24th and we’ve yet to receive any kind of update on the second couch or a refund.

Read moreI was looking for a sofa bed to replace the one I had which was becoming tattered, so my son and I stopped by this store the week before Christmas. I was met at the door by a young lady who seemed new but her pleasantness was welcoming. I would have left if not informed that what I wanted was on the lower level. Carlos led the way, and I met Michael who was very thoughtful, and who showed me the goodies in the catalog as well as those on the floor. I saw what I wanted and fell in love! He promised me delivery for the day after Christmas, but I was delightfully surprised when the next day he called and said that I would get it that Friday.
