Our experience with Goddard School of Manhattan (Stuytown) has been nothing short of exceptional, thanks to the outstanding daycare teachers and administrators.
The teachers there exhibit a genuine passion for childcare, creating a nurturing environment that promotes both emotional and educational growth. Their patience and enthusiasm in engaging each child stand out, fostering a positive and stimulating atmosphere. Teachers such as Ms. Jen, Ms. Sonia, Ms. Eileen, and Ms. Candice are particularly exceptional.
In addition to their teaching abilities, these teachers excel in effective communication with parents. Ms. Jen and all the others keep us well-informed about our child's daily activities, milestones, and any concerns that may arise. This open line of communication has been invaluable, providing us with the peace of mind that our child is in capable and caring hands.
Equally noteworthy were school admins such as Ms. Mona, and Ms. Jillian, who have exhibited a high level of professionalism, ensuring that communication with parents was clear and any of our concerns is addressed in a timely and effective manner.
I do continue to hope for seamless coordination and better transparency/communication between teachers and some senior administrators, as their collaborative efforts are essential in ensuring high-quality care and education for...
Read moreAs a first-time parents, we were apprehensive about caring for my seven-month-old baby girl. My husband and I explored the possibility of having a nanny come every day, but all the websites that we used to find claimed that it was not their responsibility if something wrong happened. Then I started getting worried about that. What if something terrible happens? Where do you go? Who do you hold accountable? What if the references are fake? So many questions! It was very stressful.
So we started looking into daycares, and we found Goddard! And it was the best decision we have made. Her teachers, Sandy and Lyn, are super sweet with my baby, care for her, celebrate her good days, and help her with her bad days. They are observant and caring and care for my baby with attention to detail.
Sandy and Lynn have helped my daughter to feel secure and trust them to be able to thrive. Despite her young age, she made friends in her classroom and is a happy baby.
Every day, we look forward to the daily reports to learn about her day, see her photos, and see that she is happy. Sandy and Lynn always seem to love her and watch over her genuinely. It's a good feeling to have this level of trust in someone caring for your baby. We feel good, and she...
Read moreCould not be happier with Goddard of Stuytown. The school was re-opening after covid under a new Goddard flag and we were able to get our daughter into the infant room at 4 months old. As first time parents, we were nervous about our baby spending so much time away from us, but Ms. Sonia and the teaching aides made us feel comfortable immediately while also working with us on a feeding / care plan. Our daughter is now two years old and has gone on to love each of her subsequent teaching groups (Ms. Carmen and Ms. Kayla and now Ms. Tia and Ms. Sidney). We pick her up smiling every day (usually with a cool new hairstyle) and we know that she is both eating and sleeping well, and most importantly is engaged and learning every day. Every morning she lists her friends that is she going to see in class that day. In addition to the great educational programing, would also call attention to the great and friendly administrative staff (especially Mona and Jillian) who greet all of us every AM and hand out stickers on the way out every evening.
As an aside, they open from 8AM to 6PM, perfect for working parents. Overall I would highly recommend Goddard Stuytown to...
