My favorite part about this cafe is its location. It is uniquely situated on the park in Stuytown which makes for a great and green atmosphere. It is also huge compared to most cafes in NYC which helps make it feel like you almost have the place to yourself some days. You would also probably never come here unless you lived in or were visiting Stuytown which is kind of sad. As for food and coffee, I didn’t think it was anything special but you won’t be spitting it out by any means! Coffee was definitely a step above Starbucks level but I didn’t walk away extremely impressed. Staff are friendly as far as I have seen. There isn’t really service here you just pick up from the counter and choose a seat. Again, this cafe is a relaxing spot to work or unwind and that’s why I would come here! Never huge crowds and the views are always great.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Five Stuy Café, and I can confidently say it is a gem worth discovering. First and foremost, the coffee is exceptional. Along with the desserts. Super yummy! The staff at The Five Stuy Café are equally impressive. They are warm, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what they do. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a smile, and the service is consistently top-notch. Shout out to Aracelie! The scenery is relaxing and welcoming. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors. Clean Restroom as well! Overall, it was such an amazing experience. Definitely recommend this business :)

This place is such a great location for stuytown residents, which is the only reason I’d ever return. Unfortunately it’s not great. Super overpriced (online prices haven’t been updated) for what you get. Music inside is way too loud (like even loud when using noise cancelling headphones). The tables outside are all weird to sit on bc the metal bar that blocks legs on all sides. Disappointed 😕

This place is so overpriced and the workers are rude. I’ve had some good things there before, but not worth the price. Their smoothies are also so inconsistent. I got the green smoothie before and it was good (but $10!!!) but you can also tell they don’t use fresh fruit. A few days ago I got the same exact smoothie and it was HORRIBLE - I didn’t even want to finish it. It was mostly almond milk and greens. I couldn’t taste any fruit except for frozen pieces that weren’t blended. I was excited for the smoothie, hesitated because it was so expensive, then disgusted I spent $10 on it. Juice Vitality nearby is way better and cheaper. The workers are also so rude. During the pandemic I didn’t tip for a take out order (i was unemployed btw) and the workers started talking right in front of me “WOW, nothing?”. So I had anxiety about not tipping again and even tipped for the gross smoothie. Why do they expect a tip for takeout orders and rude service? Honestly never going back here. Convenient location, but not worth the...

I live in Stuy Town so I was really excited when they renovated the cafe, but when it opened I was kind of bummed because it seemed pricey. Now that I've been a few times and tried several things on the menu, I have to say that it's not actually pricey, it's actually a pretty amazing deal based on the quality of the food.

I recently got home from a really long day of work and I was starving so I stopped by to pick up something for dinner. I got a half chicken breast and MY GOD, it was so delicious! It was moist and buttery and just made my whole night. I think I paid like $9 and it came with two sides which were also amazingly prepared and fresh. I really recommend to just give anything on the menu a try because it's good food. They know what they are doing. It is no longer the half-assed cafeteria it used to be before they renovated.

ALSO, please try their granola/yogurt combo. They make the granola in house and...

one of staff said they do not provide WIFI but I saw the aonther staff (looks like owner of the place ) provide WIFI password to other customer. environment is so nice to work with laptop but no INTERNET and expensive. Also, when I walked in nobody greeting or welcome ( I often do not expect in NYC tho) so I went to KIOSK and ordered. I ordered 'From here' on KIOSK but, They gave me plastic cutlery and to-go box. it seems they do not care cx at all.

By the way one of the staff cannot speak ENGLISH well. and she presume I ordered Latte. and keep staring me and yelling and walking towards to me.and I said I did not order and she was staring at me so I staring at her too and she show me awkward smile lol. when she finally made Americano and I asked her. And I asked her is this 20 oz and she said no it is 16 oz. so I said I ordered 20 oz and another staff said it is 20 oz

not a pleasant place at all feels...
