Ten years ago, after reading a rave review of his work in Time Out NY, I brought my adolescent son to Anthony for a much needed makeover. Soon, my entire family was seeing Anthony, including me, for my high-style, precision pixie cut. His taste level, broad range of skills and easy-going personality made him a perfect fit for us. And we weren’t alone...celebrities love Anthony, too! Over the years Anthony has been featured in high profile fashion and beauty publications including New York magazine and Men’s Fitness. He’s worked the red carpet and styled actors (James Franco!) and rock stars (Rage Against the Machine’s Zack de la Rocha!). Fast forward...my son is now 24 and Anthony is still my guy. His cuts are on-trend and fashion-forward and his skills are continuously evolving. One big difference, however, is that I now cut my family’s hair because, thanks to Anthony, I’m a barber, too! Anthony’s inspiration, encouragement and contagious passion for the business gave me the push I needed to pursue a lifelong dream of being a hairdresser. I may never be as good a stylist as Anthony, but I’m loving it just as much. So, a huge shout out to Anthony for his support, friendship and, most importantly, another fabulous haircut! I can’t recommend Anthony enough for any type of precision haircut - from classic men’s scissor cuts to fades to beautiful women’s short styles - and the experience you’ll get from him at...

This place is a true west village gem. I have had my hair cut by Yuri for years, who recently moved here from a nearby barber shop in the West Village. Yuri is a fantastic barber, extremely detail oriented and always leaves me with a perfect cut that I am happy to walk out with. I’ve also had him cut my beard and he did a great job taking care of flyaways and re-shaping. He cares about quality and always communicates before he cuts. I personally appreciate his friendly personality, which gives the cut that authentic, interactive, NYC barber experience. The barber shop itself is also beautifully designed. There are articles that have been written specifically about the bespoke and unique design elements that the founding barber used to create a really warm, functional and inviting space. I live in midtown east and can say it is definitely worth...

Evan hooked it the hell up. easily the best beard trim i've had in YEARS....visiting from out of town for work, and it was no hassle to get an appointment and come right on in.

best beard trim. seriously. my favorite part is that i could just show him a picture and without me having to describe how i like it (like the techniques or whatever) he took charge and explained exactly how to do it best. i hate when a barber makes me describe too much detail about the way i like it cut ("do you usually use clippers? just scissors here? etc etc") because other than broad descriptions and photos i have no clue and a terrible memory.

my neck shave and hair trim were great too, but that beard trim was just the best. can't wait to see Evan the next time...
