Young fellow who helped me out after a hospital visit shipping things was wonderful and pleasant. Itās the only reason they are getting one star. Called back a few days later and got what sounded like an older woman - nasty, curd, rude and told me the mess up was because I had printed my own label to save money. Like I said rude. Iāve now had no less than 20 calls to straighten the mess out with UPS. Her last comment to me was, āI have people lined up in my store I canāt help you.ā I hope the young fellow who helped me originally finds a better place to work that appreciates him and not around crude people like her who could care less about customers. PS - Update from UPS last night - they are now charging my credit card without my authorization an additional $27.45 for extending the delivery out until Iām home from the hospital. First UPS phone rep told me last week it had been done and never ever mentioned additional fees. Turns out she never did any of it and it wasnāt till days later that I reached a good UPS rep and his supervisor who not only did the extension but sent me a confirmation - still no mention of fees, but then again I never requested that the package be signed for which started this mess in the first. I have relied on UPS Scottsdale for years and never had a problem or bad situation. This is like dealings with a different UPS. What...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI never like to leave negative reviews but this store has to be by far the worst. I went to ship a box and had created a label already. majority of places in other states other than NYC if you did not print the label the friendly clerks at any UPS store will gladly and happily print you one with no issues as long as your box is fully sealed they'll gladly help.
Unfortunately the staff here is not friendly or courteous and literally for one piece of paper which IS BEING SHIPPED BY UPS instead of will charge you a 15 minute use of a computer fee (NOT A PRINT FEE) of $4 followed by anything else printed including the receipt drop off that will be included in the "computer use fee".
In my 15 years of shipping items this experience has to be by far the worst I've ever been through. I've been to several other ups stores and not once have I been charged $4 dollars for a paper that is from UPS sent and received by UPS and delivered by UPS....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWalked into the store and there was only one person working there. He was seated in a back room and was fidgeting with his cellphone. He saw me enter store and stand at the counter, waiting for his service, yet he did not move or acknowledge me until I askedāafter about 30 secondsāif he could help me. He wanted $45 to put a 10 lb item in a cardboard box and tape it shut. Then refused to accept my debit card for the cost of printing the pre-paid UPS label. I walked down the street to the UPS store on Amsterdam and 67th, paid $20 and received infinitely better service. I've never experienced such crappy customer service in any business in Manhattan. I would think that places like this just can't afford to stay open after a while. But, more importantly, why run a business if you so clearly do not want customers? Service at this place is abysmal. Will...
