Zero stars because they're completely useless. They ended up sending us to the Bronx to live at River Park Towers. The neighbors kept slamming doors everyday and that was annoying. They ended up written my dad up because he wanted to lower the window down. The people got on my dad's case. You're not allowed to stay in your apartment by yourself. You have to 15 years old to stay in your apartment by yourself and that's crazy. I had to go to the daycare program for months. I lived there from March 18, 2009 through December 28, 2009. The back yard they had a loud music I couldn't sleep. 9 months living in the shelter were very rough for us. 2009 was the worse year that we had in history after we got evicted from my apartment at 275 Bay 37th St apt 6D. The rent in my apartment at 275 Bay 37th St was $1168 for 1 bedroom apartment too high. Most of the people in the shelter were horrible. They need to start firing these people and hire new people for...

My stay was wonderful there however. The staffs are thieves. I left my microwave and heater in the basement because it is prohibited to be in my room. The staff and security of the shelter started using it. When it was time for me to move. That’s when I found out the staff was using my microwave. And the security guards using my heater all winter while me and my children froze all winter before we was transferred to another room. The director of shelter told me Monday to pick up my air mattresses. And refuse to offer me a ride back with 4 air mattresses and microwave that was given to me instead of compensating me for my belongings that was STOLEN BY HER STAFF. I highly recommend that any families that get placed there, leave all your belongings in storage or in your room because THE STAFF OF THE SHELTER WILL...

Even though this is a homeless shelter, it's a very new building so I feel they should be building More Places like that 2 keep People Out of Shelters. It's called 'ALL ABOUT THE BENJAMINS" & SHELTERS R MAKING THE RICH RICHER! People that stay in shelters Do Not Fight For Their Rights stopping those Rich People 4 putting them in Shelters. People should Save Their Money & Buy Themselves A House so they Never Have 2 Live N A Shelter Again! SHELTERS DID NOT ALWAYS EXIST! WONDER WHY NOW?
