I have gone here multiple times with one visit being $500+ for a silk press and micro links (4 rows) they do hair well (at least from the one stylist I tried) but the staff is extremely rude and snobby . Both times I came I wasnât greeted I stood at reception and no one spoke (or was at the table even though there were several stylist I sat by the window and finally after some time a stylist who wasnât doing my hair whatâs my name and then the girl doing my hair just raised her comb while doing someone elseâs hair didnât even look at me , both times my appointment started late. Non the less that was in in October I didnât plan to visit again until the weather got better . However , my mother is turning 60 and wanted something different so I booked a clip in appointment on their site. I called to ask about the service and I was never told that you had to also book a silk press which I wouldâve done if I was informed I booked a month nearly in advance . My mom had a question about the emails cash only policy for her appointment on Thursday she called on Tuesday to be told her appointment was only booked for one clip in and her slot was only 15 min and they wouldnât be able to do her hair for the 5 rows she wanted + the mandatory silk press because the stylist was booked . Why did no one call to explain the issue for a booking that out of policy. I call to ask whatâs going on and whoever answered explains I ask simply why wasnât I called and notified about the booking issue crickets . I say hello and she just says they canât take the appointment. I say well fine I just want my deposit back whoever was on the phone stated : âwe can send you your $10 backâ I said thank you yes I do want it back and she replied âyeah weâll send you your $10 back sweetie thank you byebye! And hung up I called back to let them know they were rude I booked under my moms name but Iâve gone here before and will never be back after she called me honey. Girl I donât know you. Over all unprofessional, no customer service , rude and I never will go back. Also ii originally went there for a partial sewin when I got micros and the girl said âit was ghetto and she doesnât do thatâ and so I paid double for micros whole time I think she just doesnât know how. I am a first time mom and have been going thru severe postpartum hair loss and etc. I havenât touched my hair because I wanted to find a steady salon to treat the damage. I follow Enigivensunday and she recommended this black owned hair salon along with others. I thought, perfect. I made a consultation explained my issues and showed some of the damage. The stylist recommended me products and told me what to book then we would move forward. I did as told. Fast forward to yesterday, I get a call at work stating my stylist had a early cancellation and they wanted try to move my 5:45pm appt up. Unfortunately, I couldnât. I get out of work at 3 and have to travel from the Bronx to the Brooklyn salon. I told her the earliest I might could make it would be maybe 430ish. I also reached out to the owner via Instagram and she has not gotten back to me in almost a week. My experience last week was horrible. Last Sunday, after traveling 1 hour to Brooklyn, I arrived to my scheduled and confirmed appointment to find out the stylist was not there and that she had been given the day off. There was some kind of miscommunication and they did not have my confirmation documented in the system. I had to show my call log evidencing I spoke with someone at the salon. I'm highly disappointed and expect way more from a salon of this caliber. So i traveled all the way back home with my hair not done. The two times before last weeks mishap, the stylist was sick and I had to "try" a new stylist on the spot. When I pay top dollars, I expect top service in return.
