I take this train every day, and have to come to this station. It is in dire need of a cleanup. The tiles are filthy, the paint is peeling and chipped, the benches are dirty, the tracks are littered with garbage (but that's no surprise since most subway tracks are). I use this station when going to HarborLab. I get on at the front of the 7 in Times Square and exit at 50th and Jackson where there is no plug to block water from coming in. I enter the station at Vernon Blvd and 50th to return to Manhattan. There is a plug there. Why is there one at one end and not at the other? Is this MTA BS? The elevation seems the same.
