0 stars if I could rate sLICE LIC Pizzeria. I placed my order by phone and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I showed up 30 minutes later and the pizza was not ready. The guy working on 7/7/2024 at 5 PM looked surprised as he searched my order ticket. That why I suspected it wasn't done at all. I told him I wasn't going to wait if the pizza should had been ready 10 minutes ago. He said I still had to pay before I could get my pizza. I said I wanted to see the pizza that I'm paying for. He went to the oven and said "it's still cooking." Following his flawed logic, I left. The guy chased after me down the block to take a picture of me to make sure they don't take my orders anymore. Again with flawed logic, sLICE LIC Pizzeria won't take my orders anymore because I won't be ordering from sLICE LIC Pizzeria anymore thanks to this employee. He put more effort into dramatically running after me like paparazzi than he did to make sure my pizza was ready. Completely preventable. Take a look at the screenshot, the pizzeria wasn't busy to me nor to Google Maps. sLICE LIC Pizzeria lost money, a customer, and future business. Better to lose that employee.

Pretty good slice. I’m not a fan of runny cheese and prefer my slices more well done but all in all, for $3 bucks it’s not bad by any means. The sauce is on the sweeter side which was tasty and the crust is “hard enough to hold, but easy to fold” style. Bready and not crispy. It’s good. Tastes like a classic spot of NY/NJ with fresh handmade pizza pies. The servers and head pizza maker were nice, efficiently quick, and served me with a smile. The store was pretty clean too (I’d be more critical but saw a bunch of kids making a mess during the visit.) I had down 4 stars leaning positively up + but as I’m writing this and gonna go with 5 stars because the service was great and that does make a difference! They valued me as a customer and the slice was good enough I got more. They Also have outdoor seating in the back! Check them out! 🍕 😎

You don't get delivered what you paid for!!!! Sept.05/ 2025 Ordered delivery consisting on a large Margherita pie (a pizza that includes basil leaves as one of the traditional ingredients on this pie). When the delivery guy arrives gave him a good tip and brought the pie inside to find out that no basil leaves had been used to proepare the pizza. Called back the pizza place to let them know that I had received an imcomplete order (not what I paid for). The only thing they told me was "sorry man". Decided to talk to the manager and he was not in. Why do you cheat your customers like this? and then act like everything is normal... rahter than propossing a way to make it better???? Is not fair that you can't lose money in making things right but your customers can? Not a good way of representing your business.

Consistently terrible customer service.

Unfortunately, I’ve been to Slice many times over the past 5 years but their service has gotten worse and worse. I’ve tried to give them more chances but I’m always greeted with a terrible attitude as soon as I get to the register.

I usually try to go to Centro down the block but it was 10:30pm on a Saturday night so I had no choice but to settle for Slice. I ordered my 2 slices and a young tall white guy was working the register. Even though I ordered 2 slices, when he rang me up, there were 3 items on the bill. I asked what’s the third one for and he laughed in my face and said “just tap and pay” while he gestured to the machine. I asked again what is the third charge on this bill which he laughed again and said in a condescending tone, “the third charge is the topping on one of the slices”(pepperoni). I then replied, “oh ok that’s all you had to say in the first place.” The individual then proceeded to laugh in my face again and said “just pay guy just tap”.

There is absolutely no need for this type of attitude towards a paying customer. This guy should be fired if you ask me, your job is literally to tap items on a screen not to be rude and condescending to paying customers. I will never be going to Slice again. They have disappointed me too many times with their rude employees. And their pizza is truly not worth the aggravation. I’d rather go to Centro where they treat you with respect and politeness and have...

Alright everyone..I live right down the block to slice and for the last 3 years, it has been my go to lunch place. In LIC, it’s very hard to find good, cheap food and Slice was exactly that. At least once or twice a week going to slice. I don’t know what has happened in the last year or so but wow, the quality has dropped CONSIDERABLY. It’s insane, I have always supported this business even through COVID since their pizza was the best in the area but recently: quality control, portions, pricing and even customer service is seriously lacking. I have been over charged numerous times by the staff, shot dirty looks when i ask for pizza that is not available (good luck getting any specialty pizza during lunchtime and never order wings from here.) and have gotten burnt or weird tasting/looking tiny slices and that was just never the case a year ago. I have been giving Slice chance after chance these last few months to get back to that standard they were at but they have regressed hardcore. Pretty sad, I have a feeling its because the owner doesn’t show up as much anymore and they rotate employees frequently so its been like the wild west there. If you used to visit Slice last year, you know how much worse it’s gotten, its night and day. I don’t recommend this place to anyone anymore..my neighbors say go to Food Cellar for pizza which while definitely more expensive, has higher quality pizza slices. Sorry LIC, we...

I didn't have a good experience from this establishment at all. I had an 18 inch pie with garlic knots and drove around like an hour for it, expecting it would be great as usually all LIC locations are.

Regarding the pie, the sauce had absolutely no taste. It's almost as if there's only tomato sauce with no spices or herbs whatsoever. I ordered with extra sauce, which saved it from being incredibly dry, but it was still stale. The crust was extremely dry and cracky (even when fresh out of the oven), and was pretty much inedible. Each bite took like a good 5 minutes to chew, definitely was a jaw workout.

As for the garlic knots, I had no idea garlic knots were fried, usually they are baked with garlic and oil. It was incredibly tough to chew because of this. When i ordered it, the workers seemed as if they've never heard of the term ever. They were so confused what garlic knots were. It was SO OILY. Literally drenched in oil to the point where i rung it out and oil seeped out from its pores. Lost my apatite right then and there.

All in all, i was extremely disappointed because I hoped this place to be amazing, or at the very least, decent. It made me not want to eat pizza for a month straight (considering that it's my favorite...
