Brought in a portion of a purchase that was made on March 15, 2025 three items all with tags still attached never worn never out of bag other than to try on were brought into the Nashua New Hampshire store today to get a store credit for the amount paid as I had the original receipt and items all with tags on worn to be told my receipt is as if it doesn’t exist and it doesn’t matter what I paid for the items I am only going to get store credit for the lowest price they can find in their system resulting in two bras both at 5995 each and a bodysuit at 6995 only giving me credit for $112 A loss to me of $80 Despite being able to prove what I paid not asking for a refund, but just equal amount of items in return for equal dollars. I was told this is their new return policy and that practice was no longer acceptable and we only have 30 days to do any return refund or exchange for full credit. This is deplorable service and extremely non-consumer friendly and I sincerely hope everybody and anybody considering purchasing anything at Victoria’s Secret be 1000% certain you want to pay for what you are buying it fits properly and you have no intention on ever returning it because otherwise the clock is ticking and if you’re like me that has life outside of shopping then 30 days goes by very quickly fire beware or go online. There are plenty of other places to get bras and panties and bodysuits. iPhone for one will not be returning nor shopping for my girls at Victoria’s Secret in store or online ever again Photo of receipt showing purchase price paid per item. Also have photos of the three items returned, showing the prices their tags still on them and whatever proof anybody else needs that questions the sensibility of a store refusing to give you what you paid for something returned that isn’t...
Read moreWe've just received a mailing from Victoria's Secret. It's a fancy glossy folded mailer with some coupons inside for $10 off a bra, free limited edition VS tote, and some other treats. As with all VS materials, there is an exceptionally fetching model on the front in a lacy purple eye-catcher, posing with her pouty lips apart, kneeling on rumpled satin sheets in that purple two-piece outfit, thigh-high dark stockings and what appear to be five inch heels with a leopard print. A blurry Paris nightshot is in the background. Wow -- she looks great. Particularly if I was single and in college. It's beautifully shot, the photography, color combinations, fonts -- all speak of quality. Within the mailer are more shots of gorgeous women in outfits and poses that compliment the text copy of 'let the seduction begin'. Yeah, in a different context, I'd probably be fine with that…
… if this unsolicited material hadn't been sent to my 12 year old daughter. Maybe I am old-fashioned, or maybe just a dad who is already fighting the onslaught of marketing forces that try to capture 'consumers' at ever younger ages. Or maybe it's just VS's way of insuring another generation of pre-teens will be out there selling sex and being sex objects. Somehow, I'm incredibly offended. Harvesting my child's name and address from birth records a dozen years ago? Culling through girl scout or middle school enrollments? Where the heck does this company get its target market cold-call mailing lists?
Once, I was a fan of VS, but their marketing choices indicate a gutter quality I'll find difficult to dismiss. Like certain other mall-rat venues selling sex draped in expensive clothing to kids, VS seems to be little more now than upscale trailer park. Maybe that's an undeserved insult to white...
Read moreFirst, after waiting in line for 30 mins (when there were only two people ahead of me) I got to experience very poor customer service. I selected a bra from the wall, which did not have a price on it, but all of the other exact same bras had stickers priced at $24.99. I contacted a floor associate and showed her and she told me to tell them at the register that I spoke to her and to give me the ticketed price. Once I finally got to the register, I explained the situation to the cashier. She rudely said, no, you got it from the wall and they are not on sale. She also stated that she did not know why the other associates would tell me what she did. She then told me to go get one of the bras with the price of $24.99, so I did. She still told me that it’s not the correct price and asked me if I still wanted it? If she wasn’t going to give me the ticked price anyway than why have me go get her another bra with the $24.99 price on it? Finally I put my credit card info in, at that exact time the manager walked up to the register. The lady showed her manager the price on the bra and explained it to her, the manager then replied to her, ok, so give it to her for $24.99. Like there was no problem with selling me the bra at the ticketed price. I then asked her why she could not have asked her manager that question over the communication radio that she was using to talk to other people on and she said, it’s ok now. So instead of arguing with me about it, which held the line up even more, she could have simply asked her manager or followed the store policy, which clearly the manager had no problem with. Absolutely ridiculous...
