787 Coffee — Restaurant in New York

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. While visiting 787 Cafe on Pearl Street, I actually witnessed a rat run across the bar area. That alone is enough to raise serious concerns about cleanliness and safety.

To make matters worse, there was only one employee working, and although he was incredibly kind and doing his best, it was clear he was completely overwhelmed. He was taking orders, making drinks, cleaning, mopping, fixing the bathroom, and trying to hold the place together all by himself. It was honestly sad to watch, and you could tell he was drained I also overheard his co worker blasphemy against God and speak so unprofessional especially about the owner of the 787 cafe.

This is clearly not a staffing issue it’s a management failure. Expecting one person to do the job of an entire team is unfair and unprofessional. It’s not just bad business it’s taking advantage of a hardworking employee I always see everytime I come in.

Between the poor hygiene conditions and the lack of responsible leadership, I will not be returning to this location. I hope the management steps up and takes accountability before this business loses more customers or worse. I will also be contacting the nyc...

Wow, where do I even begin? 787 Coffee is hands-down one of the best coffee places I've had the pleasure to visit. From the moment you step in, you're welcomed with the aromatic blend of freshly roasted beans and a warm ambiance that immediately puts you at ease.

The menu is vast, offering a selection that caters to every type of coffee lover. I had a tough time choosing, but settled on the Dulce de Leche Latte, and boy, it was heavenly! The perfect balance of sweetness and that strong coffee kick. I've visited multiple times, and each cup has been consistent in taste and quality.

Katie and Emily are two of the most amazing staff members I've come across in any establishment. They're not only knowledgeable about the coffee they serve but also radiate positivity. Both of them make it a point to remember regulars and even go the extra mile to make you feel special.

For my go-to coffee shop, the service is just as important as the coffee. What I love about 787 Coffee, more than the delicious coffee and brunch items, is the staff. They make me feel like I'm at home whenever I go, most of the time. In a world where personal, human connection is almost lost completely in day-to-day interactions and people rarely make eye contact, it's refreshing to be able to come here and have a friendly conversation or be greeted by a smile.
