Winners African Market — Local services in New York

I went into this store today just to buy some black soap, and the woman working there was rude from the second I walked in. I told her I was just looking, but she kept speaking to me in a loud, nasty tone for no reason. I had my child with me, and she kept giving him these disgusting looks as if we didn’t belong there. When I bought the soap and asked for a bag she sucked her teeth and said For what? For that? No At that point I had enough. I gave her back the soap and asked for my money. It’s sad especially because we’re both Black women. You’d think there would be some basic respect. I always try to support Black-owned businesses, but this experience was just unacceptable.
