Loma 5 Restaurant Rockaway Ave — Restaurant in New York

I love this place.. its the best spanish spot in the area and its only about 4 of them around here. I have lived in the neighborhood 5+ years and i found their food to be the best.. just like my abuela made it..

Why would i give a two you might ask?? I am giving them a two because i always have to wait atleast an hour for my food but this time was really bad. Nearly two hours on food that had already been cooked, the food was cold, salad hot, soda hot.. i couldn't believe it.. i had called them to see where my phone was at they insured me it was on its way.. then their was an issue the delivery guy encountered.. i asked about my food but she ensured me it was still in the restaurant so it was still hot/warm... but when it came that wasnt the case, my husband fries was soggy, cold and so was his burger buns. I had to warm everything up... and the guy called saying he was 5 mind away .. in which he was 10... this was an horrible experience but worse was that when i called back with my complaint they wasnt even apologetic..

I feel this was bad cause my family order atleast once a week from here and never under $28.. and sometimes we order mutiple times a day !! .. treat your customers better.. especially your regulars.

My husband ready to say dont order from them no more cause of this and their slow, you have to order before you get hungry lol.. but i love spanish food.....

I ordered from this place because it got really good reviews on Google. I'm posting this so it may help others.

Food was ok, nothing special! Chicken was dry and needed a sauce...I asked and was told it didn't come with any. The meat itself had no flavor. I've ordered chicken from other Spanish places that was flavorful to the bone. They have no prices listed on the menu....something I'm never comfortable with. I heard a server tell a woman ahead of me that the salmon portion was $5 each, the woman serving me told me $8 for the same thing. I paid $10 for 1/2 chicken with some chunky veggies in the small size container....while another customer had recommended i try the 1/2 chicken with beans, rice and veg. That she normally gets for...

Today I ordered on Eat24. I received an email saying that the restaurant was busy and that my food would take over an hour and a half to be delivered. So within 5 minutes of receiving the order I canceled it online and ordered from a different restaurant. 20 minutes later I get a call from Loma Restaurant saying that the order is on its way. I explained that I cancelled the order already and order from a differnt restaurant. He explained that it was an error on their part, but the order has been made. I again said I don't want the order because I've already order from somewhere else. He proceeds to say "Do me a favor, don't order from this restaurant again!". As if his error was my fault. No harm to me, but I did feel the need to share this poor display of...
