World Fruit Farm — Local services in New York

Been shopping here for years with no issues, despite the silly negative reviews. They have fresh groceries. Excellent prices - they have the most consistently best prices in the area and one of the best in all of Queens. Staff is friendly and helpful and it feels like they’re genuinely happy to work there - unlike at a nearby grocery store R&M, where workers look miserable and are severely underpaid. They have adorable shop cats that look clean and well taken care of that add joy to the shopping experience. I’m not sure why this store is getting review-bombed for simply having a hole its awning. This store had a terrible fire a few years ago (which likely contributed to the hole) and they had to rebuild, but still managed to keep prices excellent when they reopened. lots of good prices for produce! i went after closing time, and the workers stayed to help me get a good deal on a huge bag of apricots. much cheaper than key foods right across the street. also surprised to see their fresh fish market, will definitely check it...

This is a produce store. Compared to nearby supermarkets, the products are fresher and cheaper, although they are also covered in soil sometimes. More variety too.
