I really wanted to like it because its near my home and looked clean. However, it turned out to be one of the worst massages I have received.
First of all, I think he was sick because he wouldn't blow his nose and was sniffling during the whole session. Second, he had no idea what he was doing. He was either brand new with no training or had to fill in for someone because he was completely all over the place. For half an hour he was just pressing on me through the towel. During the actual massage, he was pressing on sensitive areas like my spine that hurt or tickled. He also didn't have a method, one second he would be massaging my right calf, then all the sudden my shoulders. It was very sporadic and random. There was also a moment where it just felt like he was spreading oil on my body. I also got no massage on my feet nor the hot stones.
He also completely lost track of time, when he heard the massage next to me wrapping up (the pat down) he rushed to wipe the oil off me, threw the towel on top of me, and started patting me too.
I'm sure there are better masseuse there, and I just got a bad one. (He's a young slender guy that might have glasses). But when I went to pay and told the front desk person that it wasn't good, he just shrugged it off and didn't care. Horrible...
Read moreAfter my massage yesterday, I experienced physical pain in my lower and upper back, neck, along with my calves. I had an appointment for an hour body massage at 2:30 pm, I got there early, and was taken in right away. During my massage, I told the masseuse three times to provide lighter pressure and at least twice, I told her that the pressure was too hard. I'm not sure if there was a language barrier, although that's not an excuse. She did not speak to me before or during the massage. Either the masseuse did not understand or she did not care, she continued to provide heavy pressure. I don't know what "techniques" were used as I primarily felt her elbow digging into my shoulders and back. I'm still experiencing physical pain today and had to check if there were any bruises on my back. My only regret: I should have stopped the massage, got dressed, and left. I should not have felt obligated to tip after they asked for a tip. It was an uncomfortable situation -- the front desk did not ask how my massage went, simply asked me to pay, and the masseuse stood there, watching me. I avoided a confrontation, but wish I was brave enough to complain then. I would...
Read moreSo I love this place. Very affordable and clean. They’re so nice too! I personally love that I can get a relaxing massage without conversation. I don’t like when there are other people in the space being loud or on the phone though,(not workers, customers) they should have a no noise enforced, but usually it’s quiet! I think sometimes groups of friends come in and have no respect for others. Not the massage places fault at all. I do have one complaint though and it’s for the manager to hopefully talk to them about it. The men here are wonderful. Rough hands, know what they’re doing. But the one woman is TERRIFYING? My god, the pain is honestly unbearable. They are TOOOOOO rough. It honestly is scary, it’s like they’re trying to break your bones. I like a rough massage, I always ask for more pressure, but that isn’t pressure. That is genuine pain. It’s the one older woman too who does this, she’s like in her 40s or 50s maybe and very nice, but VERY PAINFUL.
I’ve had two other women do my massage here too and they’re also just so bad. I don’t know why cause I always like women doing my massages but not here. They just hurt and...
