Solid quick all vegan restaurant in the city. We were at The Met Fifth Ave, and we're looking for a quick vegan breakfast spot. Not a lot of vegan places open for breakfast on the upper east side on a Saturday morning. Clean place, good service, had customer restrooms. Good variety of breakfast items, and they were able to change the side dishes to accommodate my allergies. Diner-style huge portions and very reasonably priced. The food was very good, not anything particularly special, but very good. There were 3 of us, and we all ordered something thing different so we could try a few things. The pancakes were huge and hung over the plate. The French toast came in a huge pile, and the breakfast sandwich was large. They provided plenty of syrup and offered a variety of vegan sides of potatoes, tots, bacon, sausage, etc. The sides were also large. We could not finish all of it. The milkshakes and smoothies were excellent. We would definitely go back for breakfast and look forward to getting the...

The food is amazing, I had the chicken nuggets and I swear they tasted like chicken. I had a burger and one of the bowls and they were awesome too. Everything is really fresh. Service was great. This is around the corner from me and I’m so happy because it’s hard to get vegan food on the upper east side and it’s hard to get vegan food anywhere that has this much selection. It’s a good way for people who’ve never had vegetarian or vegan food to give it a try because there’s such an extensive menu. The only criticism I have is that you can’t just call directly and get delivery the way you can with all the other restaurants around here. You have to do it online and they don’t have the same choices and I hate ordering things online anyhow. I hope they change that. If you go in just know that absolutely everything is vegan. It’s a bit misleading because it doesn’t specify that with the meat and I first assumed it was real meat! But I highly highly recommend it! It’s such a great addition to the...

Please save yourself some money and DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE. Not only are they extremely expensive and serve reheated frozen food, but also they are VERY DECEPTIVE. I went in late at night, called them ahead to confirm whether dine-in is open. They said yes and asked us to place the order on phone as kitchen would close soon. HOWEVER once we reached, he PACKED OUR FOOD IN TAKEOUT BOXES AND TOLD US IT WASNT AVAILABLE FOR DINE IN EVEN THOUGH I EXPLICITLY CALLED TO CONFIRM THAT. Ultimately we sat on the table outside the restaurant in this heat as they had to CLEAN THE RESTAURANT HALF AN HR BEFORE THE CLOSING TIME after they had already told us the place was available for dine in. At least do not use such tactics to get customers....

Food was pretty bad too, please save your money and don't...

I’m so used to being nickel and dimed by restaurants that when I got $3 in change at the register, I ask for the 60 cents in change I *thought* I was owed, but in reality my meal was $17.42 and he actually only charged me $17 🫠 I felt very silly after that. He also gave me a cup of tap water which is honestly getting rarer nowadays. Halal guys among other places charge you for it, so now I expect to be charged for water everywhere. The man at the register was very kind and my vegan beef gyro was delicious. The vegan beef tasted a little smoky, the flavor was on point! Not only came with tzatziki but hot sauce and tahini too. I really enjoyed my meal, and I think this place is priced fairly for being a vegan spot in the city. Will definitely be coming back!

I do not understand these stellar reviews. This was one of my worst dining experiences in NYC. Food took a super long time. The cauliflower wings were barely tepid and absolutely swimming in bbq sauce that tasted like it came out of a bottle. I ordered a bowl with quinoa, beet salad, roasted broccoli and marinated cucumber with falafel, and tahini sauce. What I received was a bowl with quinoa, plain boiled beets, plain barely cooked broccoli and cucumber slices with only the slightest tang. Falafel tasted bizarre. The sauce tasted like ranch. Ugh. On the plus side, the person who served us was nice and the place is spotless. I only ate the cauliflower wings (cos I was hungry). Could not eat the bowl.
