My visit to Chick-Fil-A in Newport, Kentucky left me with mixed feelings. While their food was undeniably delicious, the location had some drawbacks that impacted my overall experience.
Let's begin with the positives. The food at Chick-Fil-A in Newport is consistently top-notch. Their menu offers a range of mouthwatering options, from their famous chicken sandwiches to their crispy waffle fries. The quality and taste of the food were definitely a highlight and lived up to the reputation of the Chick-Fil-A brand.
Conveniently situated near I-471, this Chick-Fil-A location is a boon for road-trippers and travelers. Whether you're in need of a quick bite on the go or a satisfying meal during a long journey, the proximity to the interstate makes it a convenient stop.
However, there were a couple of notable downsides that need improvement. Firstly, the absence of a walk-out drive-through option was a disappointment. While the drive-through service was available, it would have been more convenient for customers who prefer to place their orders in-person and walk out. This omission felt like a missed opportunity to cater to a wider range of customer preferences.
Another aspect that needs attention is the speed of service. Compared to other Chick-Fil-A locations, the service at this Newport establishment was noticeably slower. Although the staff members were friendly and accommodating, the wait times were longer than expected. Implementing more efficient processes and streamlining the service could greatly improve the overall experience for customers.
Additionally, the location itself posed a challenge for those using the drive-through. It was tough to maneuver into the drive-through with a car, especially during peak hours. Clearer signage or an improved drive-through layout would greatly assist customers in navigating the entrance with ease.
In summary, Chick-Fil-A in Newport, Kentucky offers delicious food and the added convenience of its proximity to I-471. However, there are areas that require attention, such as the lack of a walk-out drive-through, slower service compared to other locations, and difficulties with the drive-through layout. Addressing these concerns would significantly enhance the overall customer experience. Despite these drawbacks, the exceptional food quality alone might still make it a worthwhile stop for those willing to endure potential wait times and...
Read moreI travel greater Cincinnati for work so I eat at all the Chick-fil-As in the city weekly and order catering from them monthly. It’s my favorite restaurant to eat at or get catering from because they are pretty much the only chain post Covid that actually cares about service consistency and food quality. I appreciate employees and how hard they work. They are friendly polite and attentive
However I’d have to say of all the franchises in the city, this is the only one I would not give 5 starts to and don’t look forward to visiting. I wonder if it has a different district manager than the others, but it pales in comparison to the other franchises in the city . Even kenwood mall with the unbelievable lunch crowd runs circles around Newport Chick-fil-A. Pretty consistently at least one thing if not more are missing from my bag. Food sauces etc. I’ve had whole entrees missing when I’ve ordered catering many times. My fries aren’t ever as fresh as other locations. I’m not certain but I don’t think my order has ever been exactly right here. This is not the case at any other location, they rarely if ever miss anything. Always fresh food and so quick
The wait for mobile order is always much longer at Newport even with less people in the restaurant. The staff seems to stand around talking more than you see at other locations. They still do a decent job but this is much more typical of other fast food chains not Chick-fil-A. Hoping the DM/GM sees this and tries to follow the business model of Oakley, kenwood, blue Ash, or liberty (all five+ star locations) This is meant as constructive criticism because I truly enjoy taking my lunch breaks at Chick-fil-A for the experience and food and I hope it can be the...
