Very upsetting interaction with the young lady who was working. A zipper on a dress malfunctioned in the fitting room and when I very politely brought it to her attention she actually tried to make us buy it, citing their “you break it, you buy it” policy. What could we possibly have done to break it? I suppose if a clothing item is too small and you try to force it instead of trying a bigger size maybe??? I’m not sure what she was thinking, but she did not even bother to inspect the zipper until after I assured her nothing we did could have possibly caused it to malfunction. We were quiet, respectful, honest, paying customers. Her accusatory and rude behavior was 100% unwarranted and a bit humiliating. A very disappointing end to our first Newport visit. Walked in not really knowing what I needed but was helped by Jordan and she knew all the best styles and what fit specifically for me and Jordan was amazing and deserves recognition.
