I like JCPenny the problem is with the photo gallery. My best friend and I took her new born premie baby to get her pictures taken in this terrible weather and we're turned away because it was a half hour before her break. We were told to leave and come back in a little over an hour. That wasn't possible even though according to their Facebook page it only takes 20 mins. So that's fine we left she decided she would try it in 3 days when she had another day off. She's a single mother of 3 by the way. So she goes back in on a Saturday an hour before they close and was turned away again. This time because it's policy not to take anyone an hour before closing. There was no one there no one waiting it was empty. Same girl as before just sitting on her lazy butt behind the counter doing nothing on her phone. My friend doesn't want anything special she wants a picture of her baby wrapped in a blanket and maybe one of those with her just in a diaper nothing special. The girl knows this at the photo gallery to if it's your policy to stop taking people an hour before you close put that in your brochure. Before mom's are bundling up their newborn babies for pictures over and over just to be denied. Babies grow so fast just since this has happened this precious baby has changed so much so that moment is lost from 2 weeks ago does she have to miss more because of a...
Read moreWent to buy a suit and was greeted by the rudest guy I've ever met in retail. Firstly, the suit department is worn down and has plastic molding pieces just hanging off the checkout desk (show some pride in your store) So then this guy start talking and I couldn't believe how he was speaking to me. Condensending, smug and obviously hating his job. After picking through their left over joke of a selection, I wnt to purchase the suit just to get completely hammerd about how I needed to open a JCPenny credit card, and how he helped me now I need to help him. It was something that I've never experienced before while shopping. It literally went on during the entire transaction and got me to the point of almost just walking out without the purchase. What are they doing to these employees to make them push so hard for their customers to get (the last card I would ever want) a JcPenny card. This is why this store is going the way if sears. Just be happy someone os shopping at your store instead of chasing them out when they get there. Shame on this man and his management for training...
Read moreWhat happened to this store? Maybe I came on a restocking day? 3rd time in a row though? This used to be one of my go-to stores. But recently every time I go in there the stock inventory is low, you can't find any help, and when you're ready to check out it is a hunt to find a register. It really saddens me because I used to love this store. I'm hoping that it is just going through a transition and it will go back to the Penney's that I used to know and love. But for right now it is probably a store that I will not be going into often. Just as an example, I was leaving the other day and I set off the alarms. Being a responsible customer I went back into the store and actually had to stand in there asking if anybody cared that I set off an alarm as I was leaving. I finally found someone and told them I set off the alarm. She looked at me and finally said did you buy something and I said no but thought I should make someone aware that I set it off. He just kind of shrugged and said oh go through. All I can say to...
