A vac with nothing planned except for ME to have fun was hard until today - stopped at a Gretels candy store which made me feel like a kid and then this arcade was finally one I could access but also showed me why the other two weren’t accessible — so I could get to this great option! First my SKEEBALL requirements for this vacation were more than met! While it’s a small place, the variety of games were wide enough to keep me interested - and the games had both my 39yo daughter and my 58yo self going back to put more money on the card! We got a unicorn duck (left the bikini duck on top of the machine) and a light up fuzzy chick and of course an alien from the claw machine! I liked the 40 balls into buckets game and the space invaders but I have to admit that some of the most fun was watching other people or in particular, the one where the mother, the father and the little girl all played the game at the same time with virtual reality headsets on the little girl and the dad. Absolute cuteness and I really didn’t want the tickets, so we did get a couple fans that have smiley faces on them but then we gave the rest of the tickets to that one little family and they were so surprised! What a great time we had there! Definitely worth the drive to North Myrtle Beach and I didn’t have to park a mile away to be able to get to the facility! Definitely a selling point even though the restaurant and the plethora of kid options were utterly adorable! After two arcades that I wasn’t able to stay on my feet long enough to make it there (even after paying $20 to park) I want to put this in front of people with LITTLE KIDS cuz the sandbox was huge and that rope tower had even little kids on it! But the tree with the games below it - how I wish I’d taken a picture- quite a delightful place in...

Also hearing from an 'owner' account is finally an acknowledgement that ownership is available despite Kevin saying there was no way he was going to give me a name or contact information. The day we visited we were passing through the area. We noted the weather and specifically asked the attendant about it and was there going to be a closure. She stated that the only thing closed was a part of the ropes course that needed a new part and that they would NOT be closing the ropes course. Minutes after this, my son was harnessed and entered the course only to be then be told it was closing. This was infuriating when we specifically asked to verify. Understandable that there is an act of God and safety trumps all else, but when Kevin found out we were just passing through he laughed. When asked for an exception to the policy instead of us losing the amount, he refused to even discuss. This is a principles issue and this business has integrity issues and refuses to be accommodating to a tourist to the area.
Had great first impressions but quickly ran into management named Kevin when we had an issue. A question turned into him getting his feelings hurt, turning his ego to full, and raising his voice. When asked who the ownership was and how to contact, he said go on the internet and find it yourself. In a tourist town, customer service should be first and attitudes like that will cause this place to close. Hopefully close soon so no other families run into...
Read moreI visited twice this week thinking maybe my 1st experience was a fluke. The young lady behind the counter was rude and acted like I was bothering her when I asked a question. She seemed more concerned with her snacks. There were a couple of games that didn’t work. I tried asking about those games and that time, she added an eye roll to her rudeness. She really needs to wash her shirt, it was dirty and smelled like weed. My husband is a police officer and he smelled it immediately. On my 2nd visit, the gentleman behind the counter was very distracted and kept checking his phone. He also didn’t seem concerned that the games were not working and had no idea when they would be repaired. Before I could ask about reloading my card, he turned his back on my children and myself and went into a back room. On a side note, the arcade could use a good cleaning. Some of the games were sticky and the carpet could use a vacuum. I’m not trying to be picky, these are just things I noticed and I’m sure other customers have...
