They admittedly censor reviews about properties they manage. Had a horrible experience while renting Havens 614. Just bad accommodations with wildly uncomfortable bedding. The 100 buck Nap Queen Sleep mattresses that are on the child size twin beds earns the comment "it's better than sleeping on the floor" at Amazon. I was told "well gee no one else has complained so it must be you". I wrote an honest review of 614 Havens (twice just in case I was doing it wrong) to help others but it hasn't appeared. Cost me additional hundreds of dollars to switch out of 614 Havens to a good unit. The owners of 614 Havens refused to correct the issues, I was told. In response to VRNMB comments. I was not given a refund for my inconvenience, and you should not suggest some form of benevolence. The partial refund was issued because we had such a bad experience at 614 Havens, so we shortened our stay by 8 days. We had to pay an additional $250 in fees when we switched out of 614 Havens. You did switch us but we paid for the privilege. It is not up for debate that a $4000 a month condo should provide mattresses that cost less than 100 bucks. 614 Havens costs more than $300,000 in Barefoot Landing for goodness sake. Embarrassing. There are no reviews of 614 Havens so it is a little disingenuous to imply it is well regarded. Since you only post reviews you feel like posting no one should feel they are getting a true picture. Color me astonished that you freely admit you post only the reviews you like. "We are sorry that you felt that we were not sharing but it is our choice whether to post your review". Why should any potential customer, and I've been yours twice now, believe any of the reviews of the properties you manage. The internet is a big place and censorship is widely distained. Potential customers should consider that VRNBM really works for the property owner even though the renter provides the money necessary for the business to operate. Keep that in mind. The only recourse renters have to getting screwed is to air their grievances so that the next time the property owner might think twice. By censoring reviews the renter is denied any chance at a level playing field and future renters are denied the information they need to make a good decision....
Read moreWe are currently staying at the Harbor Cove Unit 427, we arrived on Friday night, We had guests that were above us, who just left on this morning (Sunday). They made noise the whole entire time. From morning til night, not the usual noise you would hear, but moving things, does slamming loudly, Loud bumping on the floor as if someone was wrestling. They NEVER sat still. We have NEVER experienced this kind of noise anywhere as long as we have been traveling. To say the least, I feel so bad for my husband, because he needed this vacation but This has been a vacation from hell. My husband contacted someone from VRNMB , ONLY response they told my husband was it wasn't they're property and they couldn't do anything about it WE would have to go upstairs ourselves and speak to the people or call the police. WOWWW!!! My issue is really with VRNMB, because we trusted you to make our stay here comfortable and a place to relax. The sad thing about this is, we longed to have this little getaway, ONLY for it to be hell. You pay a substantial amount of money to this place, but they can't simply address your issues. The place itself is nice, but customer service, was not great at all. I truly would not advise anyone who is trying to relax, and enjoy home away from home, this is...
Read moreWhile my vacation went off without a hitch, what happened following my vacation was unacceptable. I spent over $2500 to rent a 3 bedroom condo for my family for one week. Included in the cost was a damage fee, pet fee and cleaning fee. All was paid prior to arrival. The instructions left at the condo for checking out were fairly simple. They included cleaning the dishes, emptying garbage and refrigerator, as well as pulling all bedding to bottom of bed and placing towels in the tub. We followed all directions. After my stay, the rental agency attempted to charge my card for excessive cleaning for another $100. Reason being sand within the unit. I was accused of taking the bedding outside to the beach which never happened. I kept the condo clean throughout the week sweeping daily. If i was aware that the sand in the unit was my responsibility to clean, I would have made sure it was taken care of the best I could do. When I questioned them on the validity of the charge, they rated me a 1 on a survey. In 25 years of renting beach homes, I have never paid more and been...
