White Rock Cafe — Restaurant in North Richland Hills

Our new favorite diner! They even took reservations on Father’s Day for our party of 6 plus 2 toddlers and 2 children. Impressive menu selection- everyone in our group was pleased. Husband commented he finally got a Club sandwich that not only looked like the picture but also tasted as good as it looked. Chicken fried steak amazing- omelette was awesome l- pancakes are probably the best ever had seriously!! (and I’m a pancake snob)-Belgium waffles were gone before I caught a bite off a friends plate-Bacon and sausage cooked perfectly. I really appreciated they were able to bring out the food to all in a timely fashion utilizing staff to bring out the food that would stay warmer longer first so eggs didn’t get cold. (As they get busier, I suggest they utilize a stand and large serving trays for large parties so one person can load up all the orders and able to bring out all the food at the same time so they can conserve staff.) another suggestions is to warm plates to keep hot foods warmer longer. Nice portions! The space is very cute and cozy and the staff were happy and welcoming! I wish we lived closer so we could indulge more than once a week after church! This place is the best by far. We are closer to another Gem diner in Bedford but this place has it beat since they started to change their menu. White Rock Cafe Is really super convenient right off the highway. Usually takes about 10 to 14 minutes to make it fresh. It takes about 16 minutes to drive to them. I call in my breakfast, and by the time i drive there, it's hot and fresh. Cost about the same as the fast food places but taste like home.

Not over seasoned, big portions and delicious flavor for a simple menu. Breakfast tacos, big breakfast burritos and the best breakfast quesadilla I've eaten. Try the Sun Rise burger and order it with an over medium egg for a beefy deluxe breakfast burger that comes with steak fries. It's heaven. As long as they don't change ingredients or cooking oil, they will be just fine.

Do you have a party of 6 to 25 and you're looking for a place to accommodate early in the morning on any given morning? Check them out. They have a bar that sits 12, multiple tables/ seating and an area that has larger 12 seat group tables. My husband and I came in for breakfast and some bloody Mary's yesterday. We had been going there since right after they opened and always enjoyed the food but today was the opposite. We only saw one person that "greeted" us by saying to sit wherever we wanted. There was only one other couple in the restaurant. When I ordered my bloody mary, the server asked for my ID and said the restaurant JUST started serving alcohol and it was required. We told her that we've been coming there for a while and always had a cocktail. I understand getting ID for underage guests but my husband and I are in our mid 50s AND we have been in there many other times! She lied because she didn't want to make the drink and it was obvious when we could see her behind the bar. She never came out with a drink and we got up and left before we were able to order food. We really had high hopes for this place because we've recommended it to others for the food but it won't matter how good the food is when you get treated as a nuisance. The server was not friendly at all and didn't seem to want us there. Unfortunately, we won't be back to White Rock Cafe. There are too many other places to choose from that offer great...
