Hyman's Ace Hardware — Local services in North Township

First time i went to this place i order some rings they sell for blenders really nice lady told me that i could order them and they be here on the following delivery i decided to come back today saturday and ask if they arrive i came in the store no customers but one and i mean it one in the register so i went to look at the aisle of houseware i didn't find them so i ask two of the workers behind the key desk they have and they had no clue but they ask the manager which look at me and was like oh let me ask the person you probably ask to order the piece if she did receive them so time went by and i decided to look for him because i was still waiting i found him really busy talking to one of his coworkers and as soonest he saw me he rolled his eyes and walk away from me i felt so mad i decided to walk out just probably because i look Hispanic he ignore me don't go to this place they have too many workers but no one willing to help you honestly they had 8 people clue less...

There might be a little bit too many helpful /offering to be helpful people in the store that greet you etc. otherwise it is a great place. I just get a little gobsmacked when so many people say hi and can I help you and I was very focused on buying a broom or some paint or something. I like their pet section. I MISS the carhartt section! That solved so many Christmas shopping problems on a local level! Dang! But they’re nice people and if you can find Tom, well he knows everything. They carry cards of a lot of contractors etc so if you need something pop in there and ask and they’ll give you the business cards. Some good plants over the summer but kind of high prices / not enough specials. They will help you get stuff in the car if you need help. Sadly it was less then par the area is whiting but they treat you like Gary the second you walk in I went in as I'm familiar with Ace from when I lived in Naperville, IL let's just say that's where the comparison ended I was followed every step and at 1 point 2 employees were attached to my hip I advised I didn't need help they paced me a Lil more (2 high school grade) finally I asked WHAT! I was told that there is a no back pack policy... I have a small and I do mean small backpack purse that I have to put my phn in a certain kind of way to zipper it up but sure let me fit your register in too.. the audacity so I'm guilty for having a purse !?
