I placed an order for pickup at 12:38 p.m. The gentleman that gave me my order was extremely nice. While there I decided to add on a lemon cheesecake cookie. I left and went home. When I got there I realized that the cookie was not in my car. I called the restaurant and a young lady picked up. I explained to her what happened and asked if I had left my cookie in on the counter in the store. She asked me if I could hold on. When she came back to the phone she asked "okay what were you saying?" I repeated the question about leaving my cookie in the store. She replied that she didn't see it on the counter but had no way of knowing if someone put it back. I asked what day a manager would be in. She asked "manager?" I replied yes, someone who would maybe be bothered to ask the other employees, just so I know I'm not losing my mind. She then replied well I just asked everyone and no one knows about it. Huh. Interesting, since she didn't even know what I had asked about when she came back from putting me on hold. The truth is she couldn't be bothered to check something for a customer. It's not about the 2 dollar cookie, because I would have told them to give it away, but I wont spend my money where they cant be bothered to check on something so minor for a customer. After I paid via credit card I was told it would be about 30 minutes. Not a big deal. After an hour wait I called to check the status of the order and was told they were waiting on the door dash driver to pick up the food but it should be shortly. Maybe another 20 minutes past and we called again, we were told the driver had just picked up and should be to us soon. Another HOUR past before we bugged them again. Still no food. They would put the order in for us again and have it there in a half hour. 45 minutes and nothing. My staff is starving and Im out over $60. I call again to cancel the order and was told I need to wait until tomorrow before someone can give me a refund. I paid you to not give me food and now I have to wait to start the refund process? Meanwhile I was met with annoyance each time I called wondering where the food I paid for was. No food and horrible customer service? My co-workers and I have decided we will never go to Potbellys again. Whether for personal or staff catering. We then ordered from Jimmy Johns and got our large order in less than 20 minutes which is clearly the choice we should have made...

I received a phone call at the time when my confirmation email said the food should've been arriving. The manager told me they messed up and had marked my order as a pick-up and that it should be delivered soon. Not sure how that happened, since I ordered directly through their app! I was understanding, but then another 45 minutes went by and nothing. I called and asked the status and they said the driver was just about to pick up the food. Another 45 minutes and nothing. We are going on almost 2 hours waiting for my order now. I get a text and the delivery driver tells me they are at my house, but they were at a house 3 blocks down the road. She said potbelly had given them the wrong address!! I called back to let the manager know I was upset. She offered to give me a refund, but then said she needed to "call back later and confirm". At this point, I'm annoyed and hungry. Sorry, but I am not wasting my time confirming anything with when it is clear...
