I came in couple days ago asking about repair on a Nintendo Switch that would not read the micro sd due to a missing pin on the motherboard connector and was quoted $185 for the repair. They never even bothered to open it up and look at the problem. I found the needed connector online for around $10. I can even understand paying $50 more for the repair itself, but the price they quoted is just ridiculous.
Update: For the price of $50 + $10 for 5 fpc connectors and a hot air rework station, I was able to fix the issue on my own for less than half the price they quoted me for the repair. I'm pretty sure they tried to replace the entire main board for my Switch, which would mean you'll loose all of your save data for any games you have played. For the love of god, please do not trust these people. They will rip you off at the first chance they get. Even if you have limited repair knowledge, you are about 60% possible of repairing it yourself. They claim to use new parts for their repairs, but in this case, they don't even make new parts for a V1 Switch! YouTube is your friend, and in the case of battery replacement, it is super easy. Don't let...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThese guys are wonderful! They are very personable, friendly, and helpful. My phone battery was so bad that I was stuck on a charger pretty much 24/7. Before changing the battery, the gentleman made certain it was bad so that I would not be charged for something I didn't need. The battery swap was the quickest I've seen and they tested it to make sure it would charge properly before I left. I also got a tempered glass screen protector and a case. They expertly installed the screen protector, too, which I appreciate as it is hard to line those up and/or not get bubbles. Their selection of cases is huge!
P.S. I bought my phone there 3 years ago pre-owned, and it has been a champ. With this new battery, it is like new.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would also give a Big Zero. I brought my phone in to them with a cracked screen. They fit a "custom" screen. 3 weeks later the glue holding the screen is coming undone. I can see the inside of my phone through the seam of the glass. Screen no longer works.
Because I do not have the original receipt, they will not fix it. For the price of the repair they did I could have bought a brand new phone instead
EDIT: AND THE BACK is now glued?? I just discovered this and I cannot take the back cover off of my phone. I feel the need to add this.
If they do not fix a simple mistake and try to make it better then I see no point in being their patron
I understand people will make mistakes sometimes, even professionals make errors sometimes but this is not acceptable. I paid a lot to have this...
