EXTREMELY dissatisfied with my last visit (today, June 2nd 2018) at this location. My boyfriend and I have been here on several other occasions and typically never have a problem. But today was a completely different story. We were sat (at approximately 12pm... maybe 1-2 minutes after that) in the second to the last booth in the back right beside the windows. There was a table of 4-5 people in the very last booth so we were all obviously going to have the same server. Well after probably 10 minutes I would say, a server came over and asked which booth of people was sat first. Well the booth behind said that they thought my boyfriend and I had been sat first but she could still at least proceed by taking our drink orders since neither of our booths have been approached yet. So then she eventually comes back over with our drinks then she takes my boyfriend and I’s food order first then the booth with the 4-5 people. I had ordered the pancake sliders and chocolate mousse pancakes and my boyfriend ordered his usual Colorado omelet and hash browns. Well at least 30 minutes had passed and the booth with the 4-5 people had finally gotten their food. However, my boyfriend and I still sat there waiting for ours. At this point after waiting for so long (about 45 minutes), we decided to just get up and leave and go elsewhere because we were running out of time before he had to go to work. As we were leaving, my boyfriend saw one of his friends and told him what happened and his friend said that they had only been there for about 15 minutes (they had also gotten there not too long after us) and had already gotten their food. I am not sure what was wrong with our server but she was honestly TERRIBLE. On the way out, we didn’t bother to ask to speak to a manager because we were in a rush at that point or notify our server because she never seemed to be around. I did, however, call the resturaunt as soon as we left and we’re driving to inform him about what happened. He obviously apologized and said next time I am in to ask for him and he’ll make things right. That still does not make things right though because the service provided today was completely...

Here is a summation of experiences I've had since new "management" took over. No music. I can hear everything everyone, kitchen staff included, says. This is a free change that makes your restaurant bearable. You seated a family with multiple young children in the table beside us despite the entire restaurant being empty. Since there was no music, the parents were so self conscious that they felt the need to shush their children with everything above a whisper. I hear children in the kitchen area, something I would not know if there were MUSIC playing.
Nobody here, chef nor wait staff, knows what eggs Benedict is. I once ordered it, pointed at it on the menu, and was asked what bread I'd like it on. After telling them English muffin, they selected white bread, and that's how it came. Eggs are poached to oblivion, hardboiled. Hollandaise sauce is water. Unrecognizable. If you don't know how to make it, then don't. Country fried steak is described on menu as smothered in gravy, make it so.
It takes less than 30 seconds to go over the floor with a dust mop. I don't mind that employees stand around and chat, but make sure that everything is somewhat clean first.
Service is somehow the least thing on my list. Never had anyone be rude or overly negligent, so I believe this is due to a lack of training and poor management more than anything. Have had some weird ones. Would be less unsettling if there was music playing. Combos come with choices we don't get asked to make when ordering, lacking in general knowledge, etc.
I leave reviews in hopes of seeing positive change or to let businesses know what they're doing right. With minor effort, Uniontown ihop can be...
Read moreOn 13 Jan 2024, at 837 AM we entered the IHop in Uniontown. We were seated and it took about 6 or 7 minutes to get a waitress. After placing our order we got our drinks and then I notice what I thought was our waitress leave the restaurant and drive off.
After not seeing our waitress for a while I finally stopped another waitress I told her we haven't seen our waitress and it's been close to an hour and no food.
She stated she would check. After a while I was seriously getting irate when I looked out and seen our waitress walk back in the restaurant.
She came over with our food. 2 correct orders and one wrong. The food was luke warm. The waitress had to get the correct order for my granddaughter, so her pancakes were hot.
We ate and were given the bill with the wrong order on it which was $5 higher. The cashier or was our waitress corrected the bill.
Never was ask how the service was or no apology was offered at all. All in all we were there almost 1 hour and 15 minutes which is unacceptable.
Back in December 2023 we were at this same restaurant and ended up walking out after almost an hour with no food. We finally told the waitress to cancel our order as we were not waiting any longer.
We were told the waiter just walked out on the job. This waitress was nice and understood and apologized numerous times. We figured when we went on Saturday it could not be bad again.
As we used to go there for breakfast on our trips all the time with good food and service.
This has soured us on this restaurant and we will never go there again and I will tell everyone I know about our last experiences there. Totally disappointed and...
