Lost three rentals in our first season listing locally due to their poor attention to detail. Will not be using them for future rentals.
Added After Response from "Owner": The cleaning fee was mentioned in both discussions during the lost rentals but never added and ended up in lost bookings. The third rental was declined as it was instantly booked on another platform while I asked to see the agreement preemptively to make sure there was no mistakes and they said I would get it once the tenant booked. I also asked my partner (wife) be copied on all correspondence as we both manage the calendar which was not done at any point aside from when I would add her. Poorly run - clunky business.

   Read moreI have no complaint with Island Realty. Their function is to rent vacation units. They do not inspect these units for things like a functioning microwave or flimsy deck furniture. We rented a unit last year and were very disappointed because of the poorly equipped kitchen. It spoiled much of our vacation. We actually went to the dollar store to buy dishes and knives. Island Realty will not come to your rescue if you're not happy with items such as these. Our advice: visit Wildwood and do a walk through. Examine the kitchen. Open the kitchen cabinets and look at the dishes, pots and pans, cutlery, wine glasses, the coffee maker, everything. If your vacation means a lot to you and your family, you're not...

We are now on the restriction list and they still don't want to give us our money back. :( very sad. I understand everyone is new with the COVID issues, but if we can't come because of travel restrictions, its a no-brainer, we should get our money back. At first I was very happy working with Island realty group, now I wish I would never have come anywhere near this company. They are taking advantage of their customers during a Global pandemic, when most companies are giving refunds and helping everyone out.
