I had no idea this restaurant existed until someone told me about it when they had driven by while running errands. I have never had Yugoslavian or Balkan food before, so I was very interested in what they had to offer! I went during brunch, so I ended up trying their Big Breakfast plate. Which is more standard American fare, but also seemed like it would be tasty. And it was! The eggs were perfectly cooked, just the right amount of fluffy yet moist. The sausage was amazing, it was juicy and had the right amount of flavor. The pancakes were fantastic, beautifully fluffy, and tasted great with the whipped butter they provided. The hash browns were great as well, but they were a bit greasier than I expected them to be. Apparently, they were deep-fried, and that's what gave them that good crunch. I also decided to try the Börek and the waitress was kind enough to warn me that it would take 30 minutes to make. I ended up taking it to go, which honestly worked out better because I was completely fully after eating the breakfast plate! The Börek is delicious! The puff pastry was done in such an excellent way; the way it crunched when I cut into it at home was heavenly. The pasty dish itself is very good! It's basically a puff pastry with a meat filling, though they also offered cheese as an option. So tasty, with the meat and the pastry both cooked perfectly. I also got a slice of honey cake to go. It's a very tasty cake, but I feel like the slice you get is a little small for costing seven dollars. The cake is not overly sweet, but it's perfect if you love the taste of honey and want something more mellow than standard cakes. The breakfast plate was so amazingly made, that I think this will become my go-to breakfast place during...

We had heard rave reviews about this Restaurant and could not wait to visit for dinner. We did arrive hungry. When we walked up to the door we realized there was a sign that said “we are not here at the moment. If you’re standing in front of the door, please call this number.” We Call the number and a very pleasant woman answered. She said her husband will be there in just a few minutes if I didn’t mind the wait he will cook for us. The chef owner arrived within two or three minutes. We had the entire restaurant to ourselves. He was very kind and charismatic. As it turned out, he is an amazing chef. To start we ordered beet, salad with walnuts and feta cheese. The salad was delicious and almost too much for both of us to eat. We ordered stuffed cabbage, and Musaka as our entrées. The entrees were generous portions. Chef asked if we liked spicy. A few minutes after he brought out three different kinds of roasted peppers to accompany the entrées. They were an excellent accompanimen for both dishes. For dessert we ordered the honey cake. I apologize I did not get a picture of the cake it wasn’t on the table long enough. in review, The food was fabulous with generous portions and reasonably priced. I can’t wait to return and order the mixed sausage board. A+. Top Notch. Come...

TASTE (10/10): I had the Raznic (skewers) and it was fantastic. The presentation was solid and the meat was genuinely delicious. Gave serious Erzurum cağ kebab vibes. My wife tried the cheeseburger and that was also impressive. Tasted like İnegöl köfte and both portions were huge.

PRICE (9/10): For the portion size and quality, totally fair. You won’t feel cheated.

SERVICE (10/10): Super friendly and engaging staff. Once they realized we were Turkish, they put in extra effort to assure us that the food was halal. They kept checking in with genuine care. Loved it.

ATTITUDE (10/10): Warm, chatty, and respectful. Honestly, one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had lately.

PLACE (10/10): Bright, cozy, and clean. Just a very welcoming spot all around.

CLEANLINESS (10/10): Spotless.

ADDITIONAL FEES/HIDDEN COSTS (10/10): None. Even got a free honey cake when I hesitated to try it. That alone deserves a bonus point if I could give it.

OVERALL IMPRESSION: One of those rare places where the food, people, and atmosphere all line up perfectly. A complete 10/10 experience.

We are visiting Wildwood off-season and we were so happy to find Balkan Fusion open for our family to grab dinner. It’s always hard being away when there are limited options and you want to eat wholesome food but Balkan Fusion offers exactly that. My son (6) happily ate the cheeseburger, which was cooked perfectly and served exactly how he likes it, and he finished his meal with crepes. My dish (musaka) was delicious, as was the pickled cabbage that accompanied it. My husband’s chicken skewers were served with lots of lovely dips and pita bread and he really enjoyed it. We finished off the meal with baklava and honey cake, both of which were really good. We are already looking forward to visiting sometime for breakfast. Aleksan was a great host and made me and my family very welcome. Please bring your kids here; there is a great menu for the littles and there are even some toys to play with, which was appreciated by my son as we are away on vacation without his usual comforts. Thank you, Aleksan for taking care of us and serving us such a tasty and wholesome meal.
