I was in a car accident three days ago, in which my phone was destroyed. I initially attempted to pay my bill and access my account online, which I could not do because I could not receive a text (having no phone) with a security code to log in. I spoke with several people online and they could not email the code or help me in any way. They kept sending me temporary passwords, which I specifically DID NOT want, as I know both my login and passcode. I was forced to go into the store as directed, since I had no contact number. I only have a temporary ID since the accident, which they cannot use to access my account. I do understand this and that they must follow company policy. What I didn't expect was the extremely rude attitude of the older gentleman I spoke with on Thursday. He was so rude about the entire situation. I tried to ask what my other options were and he offered nothing, just told me that he could be fired for accessing my account without my ID. I didn't have a problem with that fact, but with his attitude and unwillingness to search for other options, or to even just turn me away politely. I cannot imagine being that rude to another human being, whatever the circumstance, let alone when you work in customer service. I will never return to that location, and I will most likely be canceling my service when I receive my replacement ID because I'm just appalled by the way I was treated. I do want to note that the first gentleman I spoke with my first time in the store (I don't have his name, but he was blonde probably early twenties) was very kind, and I do not want this review to reflect poorly...
Read moreSo I spent 3 hours at this store buying phones. People were nice so I stayed at the time. My identity was stolen a year ago so I had to call Equifax to unfreeze my self induced credit freeze to open the account. Come to find out... the store ran my credit check twice before my credit was available. It came back N/A according to the letters I received from ATT later. Therefore a deposit of $1000 plus 30% down on my buy one get one free phones was required. The store failed to tell me it was their fault for running my credit report before it was unlocked. SO, $1000 deposit is kept a whole year!!!!! Ridiculous!!!!! I didn't realize I would have to wait a whole year for my deposit back!!! They owe me interest plus a lot of research time and ticked off time. I have spent countless hours talking to ATT customer service, legal, financial, etc. Plus, the service is terrible!! I drive 3 miles from the Muskegon mall and have no service. I drive across Michigan and have no service. It literally says no service on my phone or can't find server. TERRIBLE! Going back to Straight Talk or Verizon ASAP. Trapped here...... Grrrrrrrrrrr Letter from lawyer...
Read moreSome 2 1/2 years i been with atnt this location has to be the most useless any questions you have save your time and call customer service, because thats the answer theyll give you. I was also given wrong information when i went in for the note 20 promo. Dude said we read the terms wrong. Didnt look at any info or anything, just turned us away at the door. Whatever. I went over to the henry location and had all my questions answered. Even ones i knew the answer to, to determine the salesperson's legitimized knowledge.I even got the phone after they said "yup you just need to trade in your phone and upgrade your line."
