Booyahs Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Fruitport Charter Township

This is my second time to this establishment. The first time I came with a group of friends and I ordered the chicken wings and they were covered with feathers and then have never been back recently just yesterday, August 19. I met with coworkers for a very special time and we ordered the taco special most of us. We ordered a lot of food, we left a nice tip as well everyone individually unfortunately again the tacos were absolutely disgusting. I ordered the steak taco which was greasy and burned and had chunks of fat the ground beef taco was absolutely tasteless and my rice was absolutely greasy. All I can do was eat the beans and the toppings off of my tacos, and the remainder went into the trash For the food to cost as much as it does and the place to be hyped up as much as it does it is a great atmosphere. They do have great employees but the food is absolutely horrible and it’s been a complete waste of money even the drink, I order which was a long island came out yellow as a Mountain Dew . I think I will have to give this place another try before I can really review it, or make up my mind. The Bloody Mary bar is excellent, a lot of choice for salts, spices, and sauces, there was a giant selection of meats, cheeses, shrimp and veggies to put in and two choices of tomato juice, so I will give them high marks for that. The service was beyond slow, granted it was busy and a lot of large parties but even with that added in, service was slow. We put our food order in and it took nearly an hour to receive it, maybe it's because they serve breakfast till noon and lunch starts at 11, but still when you are told you need to put in your breakfast order around 11:40 you should not still be waiting for it at 12:40. The serving sizes are huge, I got a half order of the Hot Mess and could only eat about 1/2, it was really good, the same can be said about the Old Beny and other breakfasts ordered, that said everyone that ordered and waited forever for breakfast recieved a meal that was just barely warm and eggs not cooked to order. To start by saying we enjoyed our time is an overstatement. The list of problems starts when we first sit down at our table. It was sticky, wet, and otherwise dirty and unsanitary. Our server had an attitude from the start, not even telling us her name, which I'm sure she's glad she didn't after what she did later on. Everything was going okay until she brought out our food, everything besides my mother's meal. After about 10 minutes, she finally came out and told us that they had dropped it. Saying she couldn't give it to us because it was against health code, which frankly made me laugh. The food we had received was relatively okay, besides the fact that two of our meals had multiple hairs in it. She had only come to refill our drinks once during our whole time there. After an hour of us sitting there and waiting for my mom's meal, it still wasn't out, leading us to talk to the bar tender and leaving without her getting the meal.
