Lakes Crossing — Local services in Norton Shores

I absolutely love this Joann's store. I visit here often. Unfortunately the past few times that I have placed pick up orders for something specific, it tells me that they have it in stock and I don't receive it. (Not billed for it, it is canceled) it has been multiple times now. This is a bit frustrating when you absolutely need something and think you are finally getting it, only to be let down. When I called the store, the employee kind of bit my head off and said "we don't guarantee to stock what it says we have online". It was quite rude... This is the only reason for the 4 stars. I still enjoy shopping here, just a minor inconvenience has occurred more than once. They should be able to correct the quantity on their websites!. Very sorry to see this formerly busy & vibrant mall in decline-won’t be able to sustain the building much longer if more stores close. Hate to see that happen, but how can you repurpose such a complex building? This area is still very busy, especially weekends. New businesses are currently being constructed. Condos or apartments buildings going up too! Annie’s Pretzels were doing a brisk business! We need to think “outside the box” about uses this property & business could sustain! Start thinking people! (How about an entertainment complex along with smaller boutique shops & restaurants in garden or themed settings?…just a thought, maybe with an artisan market section …) great potential for developers to come up with some great ideas for use...

The store is huge! It has everything you want. I buy fabric for every project you can imagine. College prints, holiday prints, wedding fabrics, prom dresses, quilting supplies... you can find it here. Good sales on nylon net so you can make scrubbies. They have a good choice of educational projects for my grand kids. A WOW selection of blank T-shirts along with the paint to decorate them. I've painted some birdhouses and jewelry boxes. Great paint for those items too. Lots of jewelry supplies for your creative side. Good wedding trinkets to decorate with. And lots of silk flowers; I've done several bouquets, corsages, and table decorations. The best thing of all? The staff is Helpful and never laughs at my...
