The manager was awful. Asked for a smoky jack tavern double burger only to be told by the manager that they NEVER ever have had a smoky jack tavern double burger in her 15 years of working there. She flat out lied. Red Robin absolutely have had a smoky jack tavern double burger since its roll out promotion in 2017. I was treated like I am a liar and it was rediculous. When I called to speak to a manager about it after my spouse and I left she, knowing she was the manager, knowing she was the rude one, let me tell all about my bad experience. To her credit she apologized. Its very unprofessional. I had simply asked if they still have the smoky tavern burger as I didnt see it on the menu. The waitress said let me ask another staff member who has been here a long time. They will know. That person came to the table and rudely said that in her 15 years of working there they have NEVER had a smoky tavern burger EVER like I was lying. It was so rude. My Husband and I left. The waitress felt so bad she gave us the shakes we had already ordered for free. That rude person is the manager. While I appreciate her apology after I called in so I could spare another customer from this rediculous unprofessionailsm, it should have never happened. Its ok though. My Husband and I went to Olive Garden and spent $67. Red robin wont stay open with further rude service so I hope the Manager gets...
Read moreTerrible service. Made an online order. Arrived at pick up time. Hostess told me someone else would have to help me and to wait over elsewhere. 20 minutes pass and no one comes after already texting in 10 minutes prior to this I was outside for pickup with my two year old. I can see my food sitting there. I ask if I can just take it since it’s been sitting there this whole time. They asked if I paid for it. Of course it was. They hand it to me. I checked over the food and my allergy order was wrong. It was not gluten free like I had indicated on my online order. I called them and the manager was cruddy to me from the start. I told her i didn’t care what happened but I needed a new burger because the one I was given would make my husband sick. I was extremely frustrated. My husband called after my bad encounter with the manager. She was terribly rude to him as well. A new burger was made. She said it would be ready when I got there. Stood there for 15 more minutes waiting. She came out said nothing to me and tossed a box on the take out shelf. I asked the staff if it was mine I was told no. Then another staff member asked me what i was waiting for I told her and it was in fact the burger the manager had tossed on the shelf. Never had such a bad experience and we’ve been here multiple times. Then arrive home to find other items not correct. I give up...
Read moreWent to a local Red Robin. Had numerous issues-iced tea wasn’t presweetened. We asked for a correction and got it, but the waitress didn’t remove the other glasses. They sat there the entire time we were there, until the manager sat with us. (We didn’t invite the manager over-she asked how our dinner was and I said it was just okay. That prompted more questions.)
The waitress hadn’t asked how I wanted my burger cooked, but my son was asked. Mine was too pink in the middle. It was also not very good. It was supposed to have tortilla chips in it and there were none.
We were supposed to get endless fries but the waitress never brought any.
The manager offered us free desserts to go, to make up for the issues. She also said she’d reduce our bill.
By the time the desserts were ready, our waitress clearly had an attitude. She dropped off the bill and we were charged for the desserts...also received no discount on the bill.
I asked her to have the manager return to our table. She didn’t. However, the bill was adjusted to remove the desserts and give us a decent discount.
Might consider going there again, but not anytime soon. Not the first time...
