Today was my first visit to our local Burlington store. The stay was not a lengthy one so I can only comment on the little I was able to experience firsthand. The little boys clothes looked to have a decent selection of both tops and bottoms as separates. However I prefer buying cute sets for my 4 year old and the selection of outfits sold as a set was pretty disappointing. The clothes you will find at Burlington are very similar to the selection, styles and name brands that you would find at Citi-trends. Prices were similar to Citi trends, as well, however I noticed several items that were priced quite a bit higher in comparison. All in all, store was clean enough, racks were full. The check out was a bit ridiculous. Apparently it takes 5 Burlington employees to assist one customer making a return. 🤦♀️ meanwhile the line of customers trying to check out and get on with their day were left to twiddle thumbs while we waited a ridiculous amount of time to get our turn with the only actual "cashiering" cashier. I should give a shot out to the manager for his effort at a distraction during our wait when he chose an over the top approach to a customer setting off the alarm as she attempted to leave. Except the lady was elderly and it only added to my already flared annoyance .
To sum it, it was okay. And yeah, I'd give it another go...

Went to the door and it wouldn't open. Hours posted was 8 a.m. and website says 8 a.m.waited another 10 minutes and called store with no answer. Waited another 5 and called just to let them know door was still locked and with no apology said they are opening a little late. I get it. We all have off days but could have at least acted like I was annoying her.
I did go back later. Found an outfit and Jennifer the cashier...
Read moreNice selections. I usually drive to Grand Rapids or Holland to visit Burlington but now it’s just 5 minutes away. The cashiers are nosy. Especially Dominique. I was being rung up by another cashier and Dominique wanted to see what I purchased, so she stood behind the other cashier and watched her ring up my purchases. At the same time, someone else was stealing out of Burlington because the door alarm was going off. Had the other worker being doing her job instead of being nosey and focusing on what was going on at another register than the shoplifting could’ve...
