Zumiez — Local services in Norwalk

I was compelled to leave a review because an employee (or store manager) this afternoon was really awesome in her customer service. We were there to exchange a t-shirt for one in another size, she was so helpful and completely went out of her way to check what other stores had it and even offered to call them to have them hold the tee we wanted at the other store for us. She also offered to order it for us online, etc. I was taken aback honestly because you rarely see such excellent customer service at youth stores like Zumiez. We later went to Hollister and the customer service was nowhere near what we received at Zumiez. Even at higher end stores I have not seen that good of employees. That employee deserves a raise! Great job, and great impression. This is the kind of thing that encourages people to shop at your brand, keep it up. Seems like other reviewers have had similar positive...

Store was like any other zumiez! Same decor, design, atmosphere. The selection is a bit weak I'll have to say! But I think it's a seasonal thing. Once the end of the year comes around their will be more flowing in.

Signs are not accurate. I wanted to buy something under the "50% off last marked price. Which regular price was 45. And orange sticker said 36. So I was like, sweet 50% off 36 wouldn't be bad." but then i was rung up and the cost was 36. Even if the price was $45. 36 is not half. So i was confused. The lady tried to justify the price being right but I decided not to buy it. Then she rung it again and it was finally half off. Kinda.... Weird. But anywho. Maybe stuff were misplaced? I'll just ask next time to...

So I went because my daughter had to get her wheels put on her skate board. Store was very clean but I must say the customer service displayed by Mandy and the other associate (my apologies for not remembering her name) in the store was impeccable. And not only to me but because we were there for a while I notice the care taken with all patrons that entered the store very attentive. I would definitely return to...
